That will be curtains for the England white ball tour of West Indies. I am Dwaipayan Mukherjee, signing off with my hard-working co-commentator, Arya Sekhar Chakraborty. See you all soon!
Jos Buttler | England captain: We are delighted. We were able to deliver on what was planned. Thought we played some amazing series. Particularly heartening to see different people turn up and win games for us. Those powerplay wickets, Mahomood set the tone. There's a nice stock of fast bowlers, very exciting times for England men's cricket. We can say that the group is moving in a positive direction.
Rovman Powell | West Indies captain: It's been a tough series. They were better than us in all conditions. We played good cricket in patches. But we needed more consistency. We have a template as a batting unit, but that didn't work. As a bowling unit, we need to sharpen up on a few areas. Moving ahead, we play different leagues. That is something we have to keep working on, we have to keep the communication with the players. Last game, we showed that we can play good cricket. These are signs that we keep with us and learn as we look ahead.
Saqib Mahmood , Player of the Series : I just think as a group we spoke beforehand as a group in terms of what we wanted to achieve. It was nice to start this summer with the England team and work my way back. One thing I noticed, being here previously is how the crosswinds play a role. I know players like Reece Topley and Jofra Archer make my job easier. As a team, we have many bowlers who are putting their hands up.
18:20 Local Time, 22:20 GMT, 03:50 IST: Match is abandoned! The rain persisted for more than a couple of hours and much to the sadness of many cricket fans that turned out at the Darren Sammy Ground, we will not see any more action from this contest.
The first boundary of the match came in the second ball of the match as Lewis got lucky with a miscued shot that just evaded the first slip fielder. Hard lengths were on offer from Archer. The opening couple of overs had gone for 6 runs each. The hosts decided to unleash some shots before the drizzle happened at the end of 5 overs and that was that!
The visitors take the series 3-1 as the West Indies have a quick turnaround with the Bangladesh unit having already arrived at these shores for a series across different formats and all focus for Darren Sammy and his men would now be on that battle.
17:50 Local Time, 21:50 GMT, 03:20 IST : The wait continues as the rain gods have decided to make a prolonged presence in this part of St. Lucia. It has been an hour and a half since the last bit of live action and live pictures show that it is raining cats and dogs at the venue!
05:36 PM local time, 03:06 AM IST: So the rain has gotten heavier and the groundsmen have stopped all their activities for now. Despite having around two hours and twenty minutes for a five over game to start, it's getting to a territory of no return. It has been raining persistently for more than hour now.
17:12 Local Time, 21:12 GMT, 02:42 IST: Unfortunately, we do not have something positive to report since the pouring down has continually happened. It is also pretty dark with the stadium lights being switched on. The ground staff are being kept busy with covers getting deployed to various parts of the field, more than ever before as Shai Hope and the rest of the West Indian players are seen sitting in their dressing room and engaging in conversation with their teammates.
16:43 Local Time, 20:43 GMT, 02:13 IST: It is absolutely pelting down and unlikely to begin anytime soon. We are still hoping for a start at a time where we do not experience any loss of overs.
16:23 Local Time, 20:23 GMT, 01:53 IST: Rain stops play! There is a strong drizzle that has suddenly made an appearance but expect the winds to do their job and ensure that this is not a long wait before we see the resumption of live action.
England would think that the break came in at a good time since the West Indies kept increasing the scoring rate over the last 2-3 overs. We will keep you updated!
John Turner replies in the most fast bowler fashion with a strong and fast bouncer after going for 16 runs in the first 5 balls of that over. This has developed into another impressive opening stand for the home side now.

4.6 John Turner to Evin Lewis, that has struck Lewis on the helmet. A well-directed short of a length delivery, Lewis goes for the powerful pull shot but that hurried him and struck on the helmet. As I am typing, the players are leaving the field and the covers are out. It has started raining here.
4.5 John Turner to Evin Lewis, FOUR! Dumped down the ground for a boundary, Lewis clears his front leg to a length delivery around the leg stump channel, sythed down the ground over mid-on and skips away to the fence.
4.4 John Turner to Evin Lewis, SIX! Evin Lewis has come out with a purpose here, shortish length and Lewis makes some room and pummels it flat and hard well over the square leg fence. He is putting on a show here.
4.3 John Turner to Shai Hope, slashed away for a single towards the point region.
4.2 John Turner to Shai Hope, FOUR! That has been picked up with disdain. On a length around middle, Hope clears hs front leg and swipes it across the line, makes good connection and the ball skips away to the midwicket fence.
4.1 John Turner to Evin Lewis, Turner hits the deck hard on this occasion, a shade outside off and a mistimed pull down towards the midwicket region, falls short of the fielder and a single taken.
