The Crickets fought till the very end but the Lions have won an absolute thriller here. They kept things tidy in the first half of the innings and that is what aided their cause in the end. They managed to pick up wickets at regular intervals and towards the end, the Crickets just didn't have any set batter to get the chase going.

It was Noorkhan Ahmadi who scored the highest and he held the innings together with his brilliant knock of 48. As long as he kept going, they had their chances and looked to be in the game big time. However he didn't get any support from the other end and once he was gone, it became a really uphill task for the Crickets. Towards the end, Chetty played a good knock of 29 but it wasn't enough to help them get over the line as he took too much time to get himself going.

Kanishk Shah got two big wickets in the powerplay itself and he gave his side the edge early on. However, it was Safi who came in at the back end of the innings and got two huge wickets including that of Ahmadi. Snehil Joshi was economical too as he gave away just 14 runs and picked up a wicket.
