02:07 (GMT)31 JUL 2024

Great main event for Night 1 of the Great American Bash.

02:05 (GMT)31 JUL 2024

The number of counters in that match had me thinking of the false finishes between Ricky Steamboat and Randy Savage. Perez celebrates with her title as Thea gets consoled by Chase University.

02:05 (GMT)31 JUL 2024

She does it again before dropping down for another Crossface. Thea counters into a pin attempt and then the Kimura. Roxy counters again into the Crossface. Thea almost grabs the ropes but Roxy notices and transitions into the Pop Rox to pick up the win.
Result - Roxanne Perez defeats Thea Hail by pin.

02:03 (GMT)31 JUL 2024

Thea gets out and hits a rolling Senton for a near fall. Roxy crawls to the corner and grabs the ring curtain. The ref tries to put it back and Roxy rakes Thea's eyes behind his back. She hits a rolling punch but Thea moves out of the way of another one. She jumps into the Kimura Lock one more time but Roxy rolls out of the ring and slams Thea into the steel steps.

02:02 (GMT)31 JUL 2024

Perez hits a Suicide Dive before telling Chase U that Thea is a loser. Thea gets part of her own Suicide Dive before hitting crossbody off the top. She lands a Michinoku Driver for a near fall as Booker and Vic argue relentlessly. Roxy wrenches Thea's arm and goes for Pop Rox but Thea blocks it. Thea locks in a Kimura but Perez counters into a Crossface. They continue to roll and counter submissions until they land in front of Ridge Holland and the ropes.

01:59 (GMT)31 JUL 2024

Vic mentions how this is the youngest NXT Women's Championship match in NXT history. As he does, Hail hits a Spike DDT on the Champ to level the playing field. Roxy mouths off to Thea, calling her a little girl. It fires the rabid chipmunk challenger up instead. Hail hits a spinning neckbreaker and a rolling Senton but Roxy moves out of the way. She counters into a Crossface but Hail rolls under the ropes to break the submission.

01:55 (GMT)31 JUL 2024

The competitors trade pin combos early on but Thea locks on the Kimura quickly but Roxy breaks it by getting to the ropes. Hail hits a suplex that sends Perez to the outside. Hail lands a moonsault before the ad break.

01:51 (GMT)31 JUL 2024

Main Event Time!! Roxanne Perez defends the NXT Women's title against Thea Hail.

01:33 (GMT)31 JUL 2024

Jayne tags Fallon in and they try a double suplex. Ruca randomly comes in to catch Petrovic. All hell then breaks loss as the heels land on the outside. Petrovic hits a Suicide Dive and Ruca hits a Corkscrew Plancha as the commercial break hits.

Lola Vice tags in. She hits a Judo throw on Jazmyn, sending her to tag Jacy Jayne. Jacy ducks a few kick attempts but the two ladies then exchange chops. They trade pin attempts next and Vice hits an MMA throw. Petrovic tags in and she hits a kick off the ropes with Vice.

01:29 (GMT)31 JUL 2024

Fallon starts with Sol and mocks her surfboard-on-the-back move right off the bat. Sol hits a facebuster as someone in the crowd screams bloody murder. Sol then does her surfboard move before tagging Petrovic in.

01:27 (GMT)31 JUL 2024

Backstage, Axiom is conversing with Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro. They're speaking Spanish until Nathan Frazer walks over. Mr. Stone and Stevie Turner are playing tug-of-war with a contract for a tag team match against the Rascalz next week. Axiom isn't paying attention and Frazer is mad that he agreed to a tag match since he was pinned last week.

01:25 (GMT)31 JUL 2024

Backstage, Ridge Holland is hyping up Thea Hail. He tells her to do whatever it takes to beat Roxanne Perez tonight to bring home the title. Up next is the team of "Too Many Ys - Jacy Jayne, Jazmyn Nyx, and Fallon Henley" taking on Karmen Petrovic, Sol Ruca, and Lola Vice.

Professor of Physics, Trey Miguel!

01:10 (GMT)31 JUL 2024

Hank and Tank come over to Roxanne Perez to give her some props but they then piss her off by trying to break a Guinness World Record by pasting as many post its on their faces as they can in 60 seconds. Roxy tells them to buzz off since she has a title match to prepare for. Jaida Parker then struts by to mouth off that Perez won't have the title after tonight. For someone who says so many other people start things, Parker sure starts a lot of things by opening her mouth.

01:08 (GMT)31 JUL 2024

He then tries to sing his theme song with the crowd, but Gallus comes out to ruin the fun. Joe Coffey calls him a flash in the pan and one-hit wonder. Gallus gets in the ring, and Coffey pokes Hendry. Hendry decks Joe Wolfie, and Mark attacks Hendry. They hold him up as Joe holds the guitar a la Jef Jarrett. He blasts Hendry in the back, but it barely breaks.

He mentions how the 'chef in the kitchen' HBK summoned him to NXT. He mentions Booker T and shows a picture of him in a kilt. Joe Coffey is the son of Dutch Mantell.

01:01 (GMT)31 JUL 2024

We get an NXT version of the Rascalz roundtable Treehouse segment. Trey explains how they can do this on a Tuesday night because of a Magical Treehouse. They discuss how MSK never lost the titles, and Miguel brings up how Wentz pinned one of the Champs last week. Wes Lee says he'll text Nathan and Axiom while they're waiting. Wentz and Migeul will partake of a green herb in the meantime.

00:57 (GMT)31 JUL 2024

Ouch!!!

00:56 (GMT)31 JUL 2024

Backstage, some groupies are talking with Joe Hendry ahead of his concert. He walks off, and they say, "They Believe." Ashante Adonis then walks in to walk off with the groupies.

00:54 (GMT)31 JUL 2024

Spears looks on as Jensen loses it after the loss. We then get a pre-taped promo from Je'Von Evans. He says his mom was a John Cena guy, while his dad was for Booker T.

00:46 (GMT)31 JUL 2024

Cedric barely gets an entrance. Nice.

00:44 (GMT)31 JUL 2024

Brooks Jensen vs. Cedric Alexander is next. Brooks comes out with a Jimmy Rave shirt on.

00:42 (GMT)31 JUL 2024

The NQCC argues outside between rounds. Heights his a gut-wrench suplex for two. He hits The Don with another throw for another near fall. D'Angelo ducks as Heights goes for a Lariat. 00:35 (GMT)31 JUL 2024

They both go for gut-wrench suplexes but nothing happens until Tony D counters into a heel hook. Neither man will give up the hold after the bell, causing both sides to break it up. As the break continues, Wren Sinclair shows up in the front row.
Round 1: 0-0.

00:33 (GMT)31 JUL 2024

A lot of even back-and-forth early on in Round 1. Pretty standard boring first round like most of the Heritage Cup matches.

00:32 (GMT)31 JUL 2024

Conspicuous by her absence is Wren Sinclair, who 'joined' the No Quarter Catch Crew last week.

00:31 (GMT)31 JUL 2024

Up next is the Heritage Cup match between Champion Tony D'Angelo and Tavion Heights.

00:28 (GMT)31 JUL 2024

Trick Williams is the subject of his words since Trick couldn't handle losing the title. He says that Trick should have trusted his instincts rather than running to him for advice. They'll face off next week.
