Drew McIntyre has moved on from CM Punk to...Sami Zayn?

As Seth walks away, Sami turns around...and is LAID OUT by Drew McIntyre!! Claymore!!!

Sami grabs a chair and confronts Seth again. Seth pleads to him. "Use your head!! I don't have a problem with Jey! It was Punk!!" Sami dumps the chair and is rolled up by Seth.

Seth Rollins defeats Sami Zayn via pinfall. Grade: C+

Seth tries to cool things down. Sami slaps him across the face. "I know it was you...I know it was you!!" Seth sends him face-first into the ring post and dumps him into the timekeeper's area.

Seth stuns Sami with a superkick to stop the Helluva Kick, but Sami is able to roll to the floor before the Curb Stomp. These two are going tit-for-tat!!

Zayn gets back in it with that Blue Thunder Powerbomb!! Never gets the pin, but it always looks great.

Rollins takes over during the break, targeting the back of Zayn. The Visionary seems to have a point to prove tonight. But...could he really have attacked Jey Uso?

Seth Rollins meets Sami Zayn in the ring, where the latter gets the better of the situation early on. Seth is forced to the floor, where Sami baits him with a fake dive, bouncing back off the ropes and attempting to goad him back inside the ring.

Finn Balor demands Adam Pearce give him a title match against Gunther. Pearce questions why he should when Balor barely defends the Tag Titles. Gunther wants it, though, so they'll have their title bout at Saturday Night's Main Event.

He wants to speak to Balor next week, though, about his "other" title match. Balor doesn't know what he means.

Sami Zayn demands to know who attacked Jey Uso. GM Adam Pearce says he doesn't know but throws him the question. "Who do YOU think did it?" Zayn believes it was Seth Rollins and plans to get revenge in their match next.

"I don't know, Sami. Who do you think did it?"

Well that was embarrassing for Buuuu...Pete.

Adam Pearce and co check on Jey Uso, who was attacked by an unknown assailant

Before the last match, we saw medical and backstage personnel checking on Jey Uso, who had been laid out. Adam Pearce mentions something about an injury to the head.

Dunne is battering Truth here. So far, the veteran has gotten no offense. The former NXT UK Champion hammers Truth with rights and forearms. A section of fans chants, "Butch," distracting him and allowing Truth to roll him up with a school boy for the win!

R-Truth defeats Pete Dunne via pinfall. Grade: F

We're heading into the next match of the night. Pete Dunne takes on R-Truth. The multi-time US Champion won't stop calling Pete Dunne that...other name (I'm not gonna say it I like having fingers).

Dom did his best...but we knew it wouldn't be enough

After the match, Finn Balor jumps Gunther. A slingblade drops Gunther, and Balor follows with the Coup de Grace!! He walks over to a recovering Dom in the corner and tells him to watch and learn before hitting two more Coup de Grace!!

Gunther gets serious for just a moment, picking Dom up for a powerbomb and taking all the fight out of him with ease.

Gunther defeats Dominik Mysterio via pinfall. Grade: C

Back in the ring, Dirty Dom catches Gunther with a low blow while the ref's back is turned. A 619 and Frog Splash follow, but Gunther kicks out. Dirty Dom is getting a chant from this crowd!!

Dom rushes Gunther but does nothing. Gunther places him on the apron and pats his head like a pet. Dom slaps him and is booted to the floor for his trouble. On the floor, Dom counters a powerbomb into the ring post with a hurricanrana!! Dom follows with two suicide dives!! Just like that...Dirty Dom has Gunther on the ropes?!!

After that...rather depressing note, we get a chance to smile. Dirty Dom faces Gunther!!

E wants to hug it out, but Kofi pushes him away. Woods turns away. The New Day moves forward...but this time,e there's no hope for the third man to come back. Big E has been kicked to the curb!!

Woods calls E a burden. They have missed E, but it's clear to them that E doesn't miss them. He has chosen himself over them. Woods goes further. "You are NEVER going to be medically cleared, so why don't you get the hell out of this ring and get back to your desk where you belong??"

Kofi and Woods claim E doesn't care about them. He didn't even need surgery for his neck. Kurt Angle was back after a neck injury, and so was Stone Cold. But E chose his new life and project over them. He chose his new girlfriend over them.

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are on the same page...but this isn't the turn we expected in this book.

Big E wants to be here...but the New Day don't want him

E says that until he's medically cleared, he will be here each and every week to be the manager of the New Day. He's begging these two to stay together, and the fans share that sentiment. "New Day ROCKS!!"

Woods ruins the moment. "Now? Now you wanna come back?"

The crowd pops huge for E's music. The former WWE Champion is in a suit with no tie, much like Woods (Not Kofi, though...).

Seeing his two best friends argue and say so many hurtful things... has all left a wound on Big E's soul. He reminds them where they all were 10 years ago. Kofi was almost set to retire because his passion had been beaten out of him. E and Woods were on the verge of being canned. They've been together through thick and thin, and these three were even together at E's worst moment.

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods seem like they're here for a funeral, not a party. A Big E chant breaks out, and they say they miss him as well. However, it's time for some bad news.

AT LEAST UNTIL BIG E'S MUSIC HITS!!! He's back!!!

GM Adam Pearce is in the middle of the ring, full of balloons, New Day memorabilia, the old "Penny" WWE Tag Titles, and pictures of their greatest moments. Pearce introduces the group as Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston still come out together. Still...no Big E.

Get ready to have your hearts broken or healed, folks. Next up is the New Day anniversary!!

Katana gets the 450 just as Dakota Kai escapes!

Kai avoids a knee and hits a Scorpion Kick!! Baszler shakes it off and locks in the Kirifuda Clutch!! Before she can get the submission, Katana Chance goes up for the 450 Splash!! Kai rolls out of harm's way and hits the Go To Kick for the win!!

Dakota Kai defeats Katana Chance via pinfall. Grade: B+

Baszler rocks Kai with a nasty knee to the jaw, but it's not enough to secure the win. This woman who was once bullied by Baszler for years refuses to die!!

Rhea is sent EYE FIRST into the table!!!

Baszler takes over during the break. The Queen of Spades goes after the arms of her opponents, something that Kai is incredibly familiar with due to their time in NXT. Kai avoids the stomp and takes Baszler to the corner for the running boot. She follows with a rope-assisted curb stomp for a two-count!

Next up is the Triple Threat between Dakota Kai, Shayna Baszler, and Katana Chance. This is the first match in the Women's IC Title tournament!

Shayna and Dakota brawl to the floor, where they're taken out by a diving Katana as we cut to the first commercial of the night.
