The No.15 ranked light heavyweight contender in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Dominick Reyes is a stellar persona inside the octagon. With around a decade of expertise in the sport, Dominick Reyes currently boasts a record of 12 wins and 4 losses in mixed martial arts. He has formerly fought the legendary Jon Jones for the light heavyweight gold back in 2020. However, Jones had a unanimous decision win over Reyes at UFC 247 in Houston, Texas, United States. And before signing up for the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Dominick Reyes competed in numerous promotions like LFA, KOTC, Gladiator, and Hoosier Fight Club.

Dominick Reyes was undefeated up until he faced Jon Jones for the UFC light heavyweight title in 2020 with a record of 12 wins and no losses. However, his win streak dissipated after the fight, and has not won any fights since then. He is currently on a four-fight loss streak.

After his fight against Jon Jones, Dominick Reyes faced Jan Blachowicz for the vacant title and lost the bout via TKO at 4:36 in the second round. He then faced Jiri Prochazka at UFC Vegas 25 and lost the bout via another second-round TKO. And for his last outing, Reyes faced Ryan Spann at UFC 281 on November 12, 2022. However, Reyes got knocked out in the early minutes of the first round. And he has not been inside the octagon ever since.

Nevertheless, Dominick Reyes is set to make his octagon return on June 8, 2024, against Dustin Jacoby at UFC Fight Night: Cannonier vs. Imavov in Louisville, United States. The light heavyweight bout will be featured as the co-main event on the card.
