Erin Blanchfield’s MMA Career
Blanchfield was initially set to make her UFC debut on short notice against Norma Dumont on April 10, 2021, due to Bea Malecki's withdrawal at UFC on ABC: Vettori vs. Holland. However, the fight was canceled because Dumont missed weight by 3.5 lbs.
On September 18, 2021, Blanchfield faced Sarah Alpar at UFC Fight Night: Smith vs. Spann and secured a unanimous decision victory.
Later, Blanchfield was slated to fight Maycee Barber on December 11, 2021, stepping in for Montana De La Rosa at UFC 269. Barber withdrew, and Miranda Maverick replaced her. Blanchfield won by unanimous decision and set a women's flyweight single-fight takedown record with eight takedowns.
Blanchfield faced JJ Aldrich on June 4, 2022, at UFC Fight Night 207, defeating her via a guillotine choke in the second round.
