Geoff Neal is a well-known professional mixed martial artist. Born in Austin, Texas, USA, he competed on amateur circuits before transitioning into professional mixed martial arts. He amassed a formidable record of six wins and 1 loss in his amateur career.

Geoff Neal turned professional in 2012. On his debut, he squared off against David McAfee at Xtreme Combat Productions: Blood & Glory. Neal made quick work of McAfee by submitting him in the first round with the help of a rear naked choke. He encountered his first loss in his professional mixed martial arts career on April 19, 2013, in his third fight against Martin Sano.

Martin Sano and Geoff Neal squared off at 24/7 Entertainment 9. Sano defeated him via third-round submission. He recovered from the loss and secured four consecutive victories before suffering another loss. Neal signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and competes there in the middleweight and welterweight weight classes.

While his career curve going upward, Geoff Neal had a harrowing experience in 2020 due to heart and kidney issues. He took time off from his combat sports duties to recover and made a return in December 2020 inside the octagon against Stephen Thompson.
