Geoff Neal is an accredited professional mixed martial artist currently signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Already in the top ten welterweights currently active on the promotion’s roster, Neal is a confident competitor who has his eyes fixed on the welterweight gold as he progresses forward in his career as a mixed martial artist. His run in the promotion started with back-to-back victories on the trot before suffering his first loss against Stephen Thompson at UFC Fight Night: Thompson vs. Neal.

Geoff Neal is packed with impressive power and is somewhat of a knockdown expert when it comes to his performances inside the octagon. While stepping foot inside the octagon, he outclassed his first five opponents, Brian Cammozi, Frank Camacho, Belal Muhammad, Niko Price, and Mike Perry via finishes. Besides his impressive striking ability, Neal is also armed with submission maneuvers, a figment of which was visible when he finished David McAfee in his first professional fight and Brian Cammozi via a rear naked choke in the first round.

Already an experienced fighter with 20 bouts under his resume, Geoff Neal has fought in eight promotions. His ascension to UFC has largely remained dominant. Neal faced Shavkat Rakhmonov in his most recent outing to the octagon at UFC 285. The fight didn’t go according to his plans and he ended up losing to Rakhmonov via third-round submission. He is now returning to the octagon at UFC 298 in a welterweight showdown against the undefeated Irish mixed martial artist Ian Garry. Garry was scheduled to be in action at UFC 296 but pulled out of the event, citing health reasons.

Geoff Neal is ranked as the No. 8 ranked welterweight fighter in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) as of February 2024.
