Khalil Rountree Jr. is an American professional mixed martial artist born on February 26, 1990, in Los Angeles, California, USA. A professional competitor since 2014, Rountree Jr. is an active fighter in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He competes in the light heavyweight division of the promotion and is ranked No. 8 in the division’s rankings.

Khalil Rountree Jr. started as an amateur mixed martial artist on March 12, 2011. In his first fight as an amateur, he faced Travis Jelmyer and defeated him by first-round TKO. He compiled a record of 6 wins and 1 loss as an amateur before eventually shifting to professional mixed martial arts. The only loss in his amateur career was handed to him by Aaron Fonseca on September 16, 2011.

Khalil Rountree Jr. made his debut in professional mixed martial arts on June 6, 2014, against Livingston Lukow at RFA 15. It was his inaugural fight as a professional and his light heavyweight debut. Rountree Jr. won the fight by a unanimous decision and took off to a winning start.
