Early Life and Career
Tyson Pedro was born on September 17, 1991, in Penrith, New South Wales, Australia.
His father, John Pedro, owned one of the first fight cage promotions in Australia called King of the Cage. John Pedro named Tyson Pedro after the undisputed boxing champion Mike Tyson.
Pedro started training in Jiu-jitsu when he was four and has got black belts in Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, Kempo, and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.
Tyson Pedro’s brother-in-law competes in the heavyweight division of the UFC named Tai Tuivasa. They both hosted a podcast called “The Halfcast Podcast.”
