
English mixed martial artist Leon Edwards was born in Jamaica on August 25, 1991. He is the former UFC welterweight champion of the promotion. Leon Edwards faced Colby Covington at UFC 296 on December 16, 2023, in a welterweight title bout and defended his championship successfully by defeating him via unanimous decision.
