Andrew Tate has provided an update on his ongoing defamation case against a Florida woman who accused him of human trafficking. Tate claims a recent court decision supports his claims of innocence.

The woman previously accused Tate and his brother of imprisoning her in Romania, leading to their arrest on human trafficking charges in Dec. 2022. The brothers have maintained their innocence, denying all accusations. They remain under house arrest in Romania while facing separate charges there.

In July 2023, the Tate brothers filed a defamation lawsuit against the woman, seeking $5 million in damages. They allege she conspired with others to fabricate the accusations, costing them income and freedom.

According to Tate, a recent court decision has bolstered their case. In a social media post, he stated his lawyer informed him that the court found the "defamatory statements were made with actual malice," implying the woman knowingly lied.

In his social media post, Tate wrote:

“I just heard from my lawyer @McBrideLawNYC. The Florida defamation case against my wrongful accuser is proceeding. The Court held that "the defamatory statements were made with actual malice in that (she) knew the statements were untrue at the time she made them." SHE LIED.”

Andrew Tate loses defamation case against U.S. Marine sergeant

While the defamation case against the woman proceeds, in a reversal of fortune for Andrew Tate, a Florida judge dismissed his defamation lawsuit against a U.S. Marine sergeant.

The Marine sergeant, whose identity remains protected, had forwarded the woman's allegations of human trafficking against Tate to a U.S. embassy and military officials. Tate later sued the sergeant for defamation, arguing he was falsely accused.

However, Judge Robin Rosenberg ruled that the sergeant's actions were justified.
