Renato Moicano made his professional mixed martial arts debut in 2013 against Alexandre Almeida at Jungle Fight 18 and won by third-round submission to start his career. He marched on with an undefeated record to the UFC and made his debut in the promotion in 2014. He locked horns with Tom Niniimaki at UFC Fight Night: Machida vs. Dollaway on December 20, 2014. Moicano won the fight by second-round submission. He is currently ranked as the No. 13 fighter in the UFC’s lightweight rankings.

Renato Moicano’s opponent, Drew Dober, is an equally famous and well-known professional artist in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He is a veteran of forty professional bouts and has almost a fifteen-year-old professional career. Dober made his professional debut in 2009 against Frank Carabello at VFC: Throwdown and won the fight in the second round via TKO.
