Of which, 27 of his wins were knockouts and the rest 23 via decisions.

Even though the legend retired from professional boxing, Mayweather Jr. has always been the name that pops up whenever pugilism is mentioned. This was because of his business mastermind behind creating his promotion, promoting young athletes in the sport, and majorly due to his exhibition bouts for accumulating more and more wealth to his name.

Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s workout routine

Unlike most popular boxers, the former pound-for-pound boxing king has a different approach when it comes to his training routine. Floyd Mayweather Jr. while talking to FightHype.com said he wakes up at 2:30 pm.

The world of professional athletes is bound to follow a circa-dum rhythm, whereas the retired legend said that he wakes up at 2:30 PM and hits the boxing gym around 3 pm.

His boxing gym sessions include jump roping, sparring, heavy bags, mitts, etc. However, he claimed that he does not like to shadowbox at all. He doesn't believe in shadowboxing, as a boxer must be ready to fight anytime irrespective of warming up with shadow routines.

Following his gym session, the former champion is said to take some good rest before he gears up for a five to seven-mile run around midnight. There were several pieces of footage on the internet proving once that Floyd Mayweather Jr., after partying all night, used to run back home with his luxurious vehicle following him slowly. Hence, the man’s running routine and dedication have always been inspirational.

After finishing his run, Floyd Mayweather Jr. dedicates the rest of his time to his family.

Even though Floyd Mayweather Jr. has been a household name when it comes to controversies, nobody has questioned the king of dedication and hard work the retired boxing legend had in his prime.

Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s former opponent turned teammate, Zab Judah while speaking to MMAFightingonSBN, claimed that he trains like a broke man. Judah exclaimed that Mayweather Jr. is guaranteed a purse of $180 million and still works like the most hungry among his peers.
