Path of Exile Settlers of Kalguur is changing the game in some big ways bringing combat reworks, new mechanics, and even a town simulator. This may lead many players to feel that they aren't sure what builds will be good anymore. This is especially true because of the massive melee rework that is shaking up the meta.
In this article, we're going to outline the five best builds for bossing in Path of Exile patch 3.25 and why you might want to use them.

Path of Exile Settlers of Kalguur top five best bossing builds
1) Hexblast Mine Trickster
The Hexblast Mine Trickster is an extremely easy-to-set-up build that will also see you sprinting through the campaign. It requires very little gear to be good and in the late game becomes very simple to play.
The core of this build is the Hexblast ability, which does more damage to hexed enemies and also creates AOE explosions around targets. When leveling you'll be relying on Stormblast Mines but you should change to Pyroclast Mines as soon as possible. You'll also use Zealotry and Wither to buff yourself and debuff enemies for a huge opening blast.
Given that Hexblast does remove a Hex from an enemy it hits, you must have a 'Hex on hit' ring to re-apply the curse.

2) Boneshatter Juggernaut
A classic setup that's still good in 3.25 is the Boneshatter Juggernaut build. This build will be better than ever before because all melee has been buffed, even though this setup may not have needed a buff at all.
Playing this involves mainly building stacks of a buff called Trauma that will increase your damage. The problem with Trauma is that it also increases the damage taken, but this is where the rest of the build comes in. By stacking armor and utilizing the Juggernaut ascendancy you can regenerate so much health that you do not need to worry about the extra damage.
With these negative effects taken care of you can focus on spamming your main combat ability Boneshatter. This ability already has a high damage capability, but combined with your different buffs will be able to clear any enemies. Having been one of the best ascendancy classes in Path of Exile for a while, you'll want to check this out if you're a Juggernaut player.

3) Shield Crush Juggernaut
This build originates from patch 3.19 and has seen play ever since, it's relatively simple and will be very strong in Settlers of Kalguur. As with other builds the melee rework being introduced in patch 3.25 will make this potent setup much better.
The core of the build focuses on using your Shield Soldiers to prevent damage. You'll also be stacking as much armor as possible from a few different sources as well. From here your main damage ability Shield Crush is what you rely on to clear mobs while not having to worry much at all about taking damage.
Given that this build has remained relevant for so long, players have even wondered whether something like it may be found in Path of Exile 2.
4) Frostblades Trickster
The Frostblades Trickster build puts all its focus into the titular ability Frostblades to cover both single target and AOE damage in one. Given the melee rework buffs, this already strong build is expected to be even better for Settlers of Kalguur.
The interesting part of this build is having both AOE and single damage rolled up perfectly into one damage skill. When you strike an enemy with the initial hit of Frostrike, ice projectiles then fire out of the affected enemy and hit others. This means that all of your gear, damage buffs, and any source of stat increase are put into improving this single ability.
By pairing this build with the Heatshiver leather hood, you can buff its power substantially. This head armor grants you fire damage comparable to your cold damage against frozen enemies, adding a huge damage modifier to your attacks.

5) Lightning Conduit Elementalist
Another build that originates from patch 3.19 is the Lightning Conduit Elementalist, a strong two-button setup. This build can be a bit confusing at first for some but once you get the hang of it it's simple and powerful.
To get started on this build you'll be using Storm Brand on the boss or if you're dealing with a pack, whichever has the most health. This ability works like a curse, causing damaging beams to periodically circle that enemy and damage nearby mobs. This brand will also apply Shock to its target and nearby enemies which is where your main combat skill comes in. By using Lightning Conduit you'll gain massive extra damage from your targets being shocked and easily clear bosses and small mobs alike.
Once you've gotten a feel for tagging all mobs and bosses with the shock status you'll be able to easily spam Lightning Conduit for quick clears.
