As Diablo 4 Season 6 nears its starting date, we wanted to look at some builds that should be worth trying this season. The builds mentioned in this article were chosen primarily based on S6 patch notes and gameplay experience from previous seasons. It would be easy to just put five possible Spiritborn builds on this list, but there are so many other classes. Besides, it’s possible that not everyone going into Season 6 will purchase Vessel of Hatred.
As with all lists about Diablo 4 best builds, this one is very much opinion-based. Your needs may not be met by these classes, but we tried to include some really interesting and incredibly powerful options for Season 6.

What are the 5 best builds for Diablo 4 Season 6?
The five best builds for Diablo 4 Season 6 given below help complete the newest, most challenging content the game has to offer.
1) Poison Swarm Stinger Spiritborn
Spiritborn will be the newest class in Diablo 4 Season 6 — if you buy Vessel of Hatred— and it will have some of the best builds in the entire game. In fact, the developers already said they made the class overpowered. This really invites a lot of flexible builds, courtesy of the animal spirit system.
This build is all about shredding with the power of poison: Stinger, Touch of Death, Scourge, Toxic Skin, and The Devourer. You'll also want to bring along a Gorilla or Jaguar skill. This could be Armored Hide (Gorilla) for tankiness/resolve or Ravager, which will help you get more attack speed or make your poison hits faster.
I’m a huge fan of this build. Among the best options for Diablo 4 Season 6, it's especially effective if you combine it with some fun Runewords. For instance, you could summon more Poison Swarms when casting an Ultimate or maybe Barbarian’s War Cry.
2) Soul Rift Necromancer
Necromancers will be in an interesting place in Diablo 4 Season 6. Some players say they’re weak, but I don’t really know if I agree. It feels like the Minions got some solid updates, and the new Soul Rift power has a lot of potential. It corrupts surrounding enemies for eight seconds, dealing a ton of damage and stealing souls.
This helps build Essence and a Barrier. It also uses the new Affliction ability. This makes enemies affected by Vulnerable, Crowd Control, or Shadow Damage over Time become Afflicted, which increases outgoing Minion damage by 15%. It also makes your Curse spells deal extra Shadow damage to Afflicted enemies.
The Curse of choice for this build is Decrepify, ensuring those Afflicted enemies perish swiftly. However, Soul Rift Necromancer will likely be gear-dependent, using items like Ring of Starless Skies and Tyrael’s Might.
3) Barrage Victimised Rogue
Barrage Victimised Rogue will likely be one of the best builds in Diablo 4 Season 6. This is all thanks to the Victimised Key Passive being more powerful than ever. All that extra damage amplification is a nice thing to see.
Using skills like Puncture, Cold/Poison Imbuement, and Caltrops, you can deal tons of damage with the mighty Barrage. You’ll also have access to Shadow Step to get in nice and close in a pinch.
Rogue’s not an especially complex class to get high-damage builds with. I’ve got a really good feeling about this one.
4) Whirlwind Thorns Barbarian
Sure, Infinite Damage isn’t on the table, but I still think a handful of Diablo 4 Season 6 players were on to something here. The bugged interactions likely aren’t going to stick around, and this class won’t require an absolutely perfect build, but I think Whirlwind Thorns Barbarian is still going to be incredible.
This build should use Barbed Carapace, the new Key Passive, alongside the powerful Tough as Nails passive. It should also employ the Yu+Xal Runeword combo for Earthquake while standing still. Lots of health, tons of thorns, a few war cries, and everything will melt under the power of this build.
5) Chain Lightning Sorcerer
Chain Lightning Sorcerer is still one of the best builds in Diablo 4 Season 6. That said, it may require some pretty specific gear in the form of Frostburn, Azurewrath, and probably Tyrael’s Might to provide some tankiness.
You will use two strong Runeword combos with this build, Tom+Ohm (War Cry) and Yul+Lum (Cast skill with a cooldown restores Resource). You can also employ Chain Lightning, Unstable Currents, and, of course, the usual Teleport/Ice Armor/Flame Shield defensive cooldowns. That means you get plenty of Lightning/Frost damage, and fire damage through Unstable Currents and the Familiar spell.
You shouldn't keep Familiar on your bar, but you can get them summoned while casting Unstable Currents. Between this and the never-ending swarm of chain lightning blasts, waves of enemies and bosses alike will crumble before the Sorcerer’s power.
