Diablo 4 Season 6 has some fantastic new Uniques that are worth farming. Whether you want a powerful new Mythic Unique to add to any class, or something more specific, there's something for you and your build. Each class received at least one new Unique, and there was a trio of new Mythic Uniques added to the game for the Season of Hatred. It was hard to narrow it down to just a few, but these are the ones we think are the best.
As you begin Season 6 in Diablo 4, consider these Uniques for your various builds going forward. These items will be sticking around as well, so they’ll be worth having on the Eternal server, or even in future updates beyond the Season of Hatred.
Note: This article is subjective and based on the author's opinion.
Which Uniques should you farm first in Diablo 4 Season 6?
1) Shattered Vow (Mythic Unique - Barbarian, Druid, Spiritborn)
Shattered Vow is an amazing Unique in Diablo 4 Season 6. +400% damage to Healthy Enemies? That is a bonkers stat, all on its own. It even allows players to Berserk, through Lucky Hit procs. It adds a ton of damage to your Damage Over Time effects (444%), gives you more life, and on top of that, enemies afflicted by more Damage over Time than remaining Life are just immediately executed.
I think this will be best served on a Spiritborn, thanks to their incredible poison damage/damage over time effects through the Centipede spirit. Suddenly, all of those puddles of poison are potential AOE executes. What a fantastic feeling that’s going to be.
2) The Unmaker (Necromancer Unique)
The Unmaker offers Necromancers in Diablo 4 Season 6 a way to get more out of their new Soulrift builds. Its baseline has a chance to double the damage Soulrift does, increases resource generation, adds ranks to Imperfectly Balanced, and damage reduction while you have a barrier. That all on its own is great for Necromancers.
However, it also increases Soulrift’s duration by 0.5s for each 30 Essence you spend while it’s active, for a total of eight seconds. This powerful new ability also deals 100%-200% of its Shadow damage per second to surrounding enemies for every 30 Essence you gain while it’s active. It sounds like a Diablo 4 Unique that will require some practice to get the most out of it, but it will be worth it.
3) Heir of Perdition (General Mythic Unique)
Heir of Perdition is one of the new Mythic Uniques, and it’s one that anyone in the game can equip. +20% Critical Strike Chance, Lucky Hit Chance, and Movement Speed is a solid list of baseline stats. It also adds +2 to all Core Skills. It’s not quite as great as Harlequin Crest, but it’s still an amazing helmet. You also receive +200% damage to all Angels and Demons, which feels like a tease for future content.
However, the ultimate ability of this Diablo 4 Season 6 Mythic Unique is that it allows you to succumb to hatred, and earn Mother’s Favor. This increases your damage by 60% (multiplicative). Slaughtering enemies will let you briefly steal Mother’s Favor from nearby allies as well. That is a ton of extra damage, and I can see so many builds that would make great use of it.
4) Sidhe Bindings (Sorcerer Unique)
Do you, like me, love the Familiar ability in Diablo 4 Season 6, and wish a Unique made it better? Then welcome to the powerful Sidhe Bindings! Since it’s a glove slot, I think it’ll be used in at least a few builds, and could really lead to significant damage. It increases your non-Physical damage, gives you a chance for Familiars to hit twice, increases their explosion size, and ranks to the Familiar skill.
Its unique ability lets you summon all three Familiar variants at once, each time you cast the spell. You lose a charge from the ability, but the duration is increased by 25%-25%, and its cooldown is reduced by two seconds. You can do a lot with those elemental pals, thanks to this incredible new Diablo 4 unique.
5) Ugly Bastard Helm (Barbarian Unique)
Aside from having one of the best names for any piece of gear in Diablo 4, the Ugly Bastard Helm is also a powerful piece of gear. It reduces your Wrath of the Berserker cooldown, adds ranks to Prolific Fury and Aggressive Resistance, and has a Lucky Hit for extra fire damage. It’s up to 40% Lucky Hit, so the chances are solid.
When you cast Wrath of the Berserker, you also explode with Fire damage. While berserking, your direct damage dealt is converted into Fire damage. Add onto that, you now deal 60%-80% (multiplicative) Fire damage, you can bathe all your foes in an inferno. I think even enemies that resist fire may wind up taking significant damage, thanks to the various damage multipliers that could be in play.
