Tarisland is a grand MMORPG that has a lot of intricacies attached to it. If you are not similar to games like WoW or Diablo 4, this new free-to-play MMO by Tencent can be very overwhelming. However, once you get an idea of the things you need to do, and more importantly things you shouldn’t do, Tarisland will no longer remain a complex MMO title.
This article details seven mistakes you should definitely avoid while starting out in Tarisland.

Seven mistakes to avoid in Tarisland
1) Don’t worry about messing up your build
You might be concerned about making mistakes while following the guide's instructions for a specific build. Well, don’t worry as you are not going to mess up your build in any way. Just go forward with whatever seems good at the time of building. You can just re-spec anytime you want if you change your mind.
2) Prioritize your special stats
Not understanding your class's stat priorities and building your character inefficiently can be fatal in the end game. Each class has specific stats that are more beneficial, so focus on those rather than spreading points evenly. Although respec-ing options are available in the game, you should do some research about the class you like before committing to it.
3) Don’t forget about your silver coins
You should always regularly upgrade your skills and talents. Remember to use your silver coins to upgrade skills every few levels and allocate talent points appropriately. Hoarding the coins won’t be of any help if you're just going to stack them up. So use them all wherever available.
4) Don’t sleep on side quests
By neglecting to complete side activities, quests, and achievements, you will only make your level progression more slow. These side content provide valuable XP, rewards, and resources that help you level up and strengthen your character. So whenever you get time, try to finish some side quest that will eventually make your end-game journey pleasanter.
5) Mismanaging your Inscribed Stone board
Early on, focus on getting emblems and putting one point in most nodes before maxing out individual attributes. Inscribed Stones are great minor buffs that can dictate or help boost the power of the build you are trying to make, so don’t forget to upgrade them whenever you can.

6) Understand the professions
Ignoring professions or not using them will be nothing but a missed opportunity. Start leveling your chosen profession early, use the appropriate tools for gathering, and pay attention to the Vigor system for crafting. If you are having a hard time choosing a profession, take a look at our Tarisland profession guide.
7) Keep a close eye on your dungeon and raid challenges
Pay attention to your special challenges. These challenges are a great way to gain some Inscribed stones materials, EXP, and many other rewards. Complete the challenges as often as you can to greatly boost your character progression.
