Aberrant Action god roll guide for Destiny 2 PvE and PvP

Aberrant Action Rocket-Assisted Sidearm is one of the new entries in Destiny 2 Echoes Act 2. This specific archetype has taken the community by storm, just by the sheer amount of damage output, utility, and range it generates while shutting down any enemy. Be it bosses, Champions, or a group of small mobs, the new Solar Sidearm can do anything a Guardian needs of their gear.

This article lists the best perks on the Aberrant Action Sidearm for PvE and PvP. This weapon is associated with the seasonal loot pool in Echoes Act 2, meaning that players can craft it by collecting five Deepsight copies of the same weapon.

The following perks are recommended on the Aberrant Action for PvE:

Linear Compensator for increased Stability, Blast Radius, and Velocity
High-velocity rounds for increased projectile speed on the weapon
Heal Clip for a x2 Cure on the user after reloading on kill, alongside x1 Cure to nearby allies
Incandescent for a Scorch explosion upon kills, and further spreading the Scorch to adjacent targets

There is another great perk on the third column of this weapon, called Beacon Rounds. Players are recommended to try their hand at both the perks via crafting and decide which one feels good with their builds.

Note that other perks aren't that potent for PvE, and going for the specific combinations mentioned above is easier here since Aberrant Action is a craftable weapon.

The following perks are recommended on the Aberrant Action for PvP:

Smart Drift Control for increased Stability, recoil control, Velocity, and Handling
High-velocity rounds for increased projectile speed on the weapon
Threat Detector for increased reload speed, Stability, and Handling on the weapon when enemies are within 15m of range
Swashbuckler for a small increase in damage with weapon kills, and a major increase in damage with melee kills

Harmony is also a great perk to have for increased damage, alongside Heal Clip for quick recovery amidst a fight.

How to get Aberrant Action in Destiny 2?

Aberrant Action can be purchased from Failsafe at the HELM in exchange for Echoes Engram and Glimmer. Additionally, players can also farm the weapon as a drop from Echoes Battleground seasonal activity. Since this is a craftable weapon, it is recommended that everyone farms the Deepsight versions first, and then craft it from the Enclave.
