Grenade Launchers have been topping the usage charts of Destiny 2 Episode Revenant, solely because of the artifact perks. One particular perk, named Concussive Reload, can weaken any boss or Champion just by firing at them. Due to this, having a Heavy Grenade Launcher is mandatory for the majority of builds, especially when it comes to endgame bosses or activities.
Acosmic, although an event-exclusive weapon, can compete against the best Heavy Grenade Launchers in the game. It is a Rapid Fire Framed Void weapon, which means it can dish out increased damage numbers in a short time.
The re-issued version in Season 25 makes the weapon even better with desirable perks in the two columns.
Acosmic PvE god roll in Destiny 2
Here is a list of perks recommended on the Acosmic Grenade Launcher for boss DPS:
- Volatile Launch for increased Blast Radius.
- Spike Grenades for increased damage on direct hits.
- Withering Gaze for weakening the target after aiming the weapon without firing for a short time.
- Bait and Switch for increased damage after damaging the target with the other two weapons in the loadout.
Withering Gaze is not important to have as long as you have the Concussive Reload perk from Episode Revenant. However, once the artifact goes away in the next episode, having this perk on the weapon will allow you to inflict the weakened debuff at will, without using any abilities or Exotics.
Hence, it is very important to think for the future and have the Withering Gaze equipped with the weapon. Other recommended perks in the third column include Clown Cartridge and Impulse Amplifier.
Acosmic PvP god roll in Destiny 2
Here is a list of perks recommended on the Acosmic Grenade Launcher for PvP:
- Volatile Launch for increased Blast Radius
- High-velocity rounds for increased projectile speed
- Impulse Amplifier for more speed on the projectile
- Destabilizing Rounds for applying Volatile to adjacent targets around the killed enemy
Reverberation is a great utility perk in the third column as well.
