In the last update, Aion Classic increased the max level cap and introduced new end-game content such as the Apheta Beluslan. With this new 2.8.5 Dominance update, NCSOFT aims to expand the upcoming additions with more content.

Highlights of Aion Classic 2.8.5 Dominance Updates

New Instance: Tartarus

A brand new instance for the Apheta Beluslan battlefield named Tartarus will be incorporated. You will have to fight till the end of the instance to encounter Phaestos in the dungeon.

• Instance for two to six players. The minimum entry level is 58.
• This instance can be entered only once every week (resets Wednesdays at 9 am).
• Need to capture Apheta Beluslan in the new Fortress Battle to enter.
• You will need a Time Fragment item to enter. It can be bought from merchants near the fortress.
• Loot that you can get from this dungeon: Abyss Relics and Ebony Gold Medal.

New Instance: Wall of Lament

This instance is also located in Apheta Beluslan. Here you can face the behemoth Samael.

• Instance for two to four players. The minimum entry level is 58.
• Like the previous instance, the Wall of Lament can also be entered only once every week (resets Wednesdays at 9 am)
• Need to capture Apheta Beluslan in the new Fortress Battle to enter.
• To enter this instance, you will need the Lament Fragment item. It can be purchased from merchants near the fortress.
• Loot you can find here are Eternal weapons, armor, and Doomed Legion Leader's accessories.

New Fortress Battle for Apheta Beluslan

In this new Fortress Battle, you must fight to capture Apheta Beluslan. To do so, you will need to defeat and eliminate the Guardian General who can be reached after breaking the fortress gate and deactivating the Aetheric Field. The faction that emerges victorious in this Fortress Battle will get unlimited access to the new instances.

These instances can only be accessed through the Fortress. The losing faction can also enter the new instances, but they must pay the entry cost: Time Fragment or Lament Fragment.
