AION Classic EU Update 2.8 'Conquest' increases level cap, adds new battlefield, skills, and more

AION Classic EU Update 2.8 Conquest is finally here, bringing tons of fresh content for players to dive into. The update ushers in the new battlefield, Apheta Belusla, and the latest Instance Phaestos’ Disc. The level cap has also been increased, paving the way for two new skills across all classes, as well as plenty of weapons and accessories to craft.

AION Classic EU Update 2.8 'Conquest' details

AION Classic EU Update 2.8 has finally rolled out, introducing major changes to the game. Brace yourselves for a new battlefield, instance, skills, weapons, and an increased level cap.

The highlight of the update is the new Apheta Beluslan battlefield, a terrifying region of darkness inhabited by mutated creatures and weird monsters. The battlefield introduces plenty of crafting opportunities, including new collectibles and recovery potions. Expect new NPCs, merchants, raids, material supply contents, and monsters on it.

Players must battle against Tiamat's Legion to conquer the new region. Groups of six players (required level: 58) can join the Apheta Beluslan raid, which takes place every Saturday, at 11 PM CEST.

A new instance called Phaestos' Disc also came with the update, where players can band together to complete the new dungeon and gain valuable loot. This instance features ancient technology and golden power.

Update 2.8 also brings an increased level cap (Level 58), allowing players to unlock two new skills for each class. Check out the new skills below:

Gladiator: Charge Stamina and Counterattack Serum
Templar: Wisdom’s Shield and Agonising Defence
Ranger: Focus Arrow and Nimble Breath
Assassin: Debilitating Seal Destruction and Obliteration
Sorcerer: Robe of Nature and Temperature Drop
Spiritmaster: Soul Drain and Horror Shackles
Cleric: Prayer of Concentration and Protective Shield
Chanter: Steeled Body and Battle’s Hold
Revenant: Sonic Boom and Chain of Hatred

Aside from these skills, players can also explore new crafting opportunities with the new level 58 weapons and accessories.

AION Classic EU Update 2.8 also introduces several account changes. Players can now enjoy increased flexibility, thanks to the increased character limit of 12 for each account. Total Enchantment is also here, allowing players to gain special effects when PvE and PvP gear weapons meet the enchantment criteria.
