The Fallout 76 Fire Breather exam is part of the main story quest called "Into the Fire." Upon passing this exam, you must also qualify through the Physical and the Final exams. Completing this questline allows you to join the Fire Breather division of the Responders, a volunteer Disaster Relief Organization in Appalachia.

Here, you can initiate the Into the Fire questline by listening to the Protectron's advertisements regarding joining the Fire Breathers. Subsequently, you can undertake the Fire Breather exam in Fallout 76 by accessing one of the terminals.

Fallout 76 "Into the Fire" Physical exam route: How to beat this quest

Upon successfully passing the Fire Breather exam in Fallout 76, you'll be tasked with a Physical exam held at the Charleston Herald building. This exam will challenge your parkour skills with an obstacle course that must be completed within three minutes.

Upon completing the obstacle course, the Final exam will take place in the Belching Betty mineshaft in the Ash Heap. In this phase, you'll need to activate an emergency beacon at the northeastern end of the mineshaft and combat a wave of Scorched. Afterward, returning to the Charleston Fire Department and registering with the company will complete the Into the Fire questline.
