For a classic party-based dungeon-delving experience, Throne and Liberty has designated Co-op dungeons to be accessible via the "Dimensional Circle". Unlike the many farmable open-world dungeons scattered throughout the Solisium map, these co-op dungeons are instance-based experiences meant for organized party comps.
In this article, we'll give a rundown of all the Dimensional Circle co-op Dungeons found in Throne and Liberty, and what to expect from them.
How to access Dimensional Circle Co-op Dungeons in Throne and Liberty
All you have to do to access co-op Dungeons in Throne and Liberty is get to lvl 20 on your character. Once you get there, the Co-op Dungeon option unlocks in your main menu (Default PC keybind: Esc/F11). Note that at lvl 20, you can only access the first Dimensional Circle dungeon, Specter's Abyss.
Level 20 also unlocks the Party Board and Party Matchmaking in Throne and Liberty, letting you assign yourself a specific role (Tank, DPS, or Healer) and queue for an organized party. Regardless of whether you do it from the Co-op Dungeons menu or the Party Matchmaking system, it's the same pool of players.
Throne and Liberty Co-op Dungeon rewards and Dimensional Contract Tokens Explained
Once you beat the final boss of a Co-op Dungeon, you will get a randomized item from that dungeon's specific reward pool. To claim the prize, however, you must expend a certain amount of an exclusive currency called Dimensional Contract Tokens.
660 Dimensional Contract Tokens fill up in your inventory passively every day, up to a cap of 3300. In other words, if you're not doing any Dimensional Circle dungeons, you'll automatically have 3300 Dimensional Contract Tokens to start with within 5 days.
For reference, each end-game Co-op Dungeon will require 300 Dimensional Contract Tokens, limiting the total amount of this activity you can do in a week.
All Throne and Liberty Co-op Dungeons and their bosses explored
There are three types of Co-op Dungeons in Throne and Liberty: regular Dimensional Circle, 1-Star Dimensional Circle, and Event Dungeons. Below, we have listed all of these dungeons, along with what to expect from them and other basics you should know.
All Dimensional Circle Dungeons
You can access Dimensional Circle Dungeons when doing the main quest and leveling your character from 1 to 20. However, there's no reason to cast these off as 'tutorial' dungeons as they are still feature-complete and have designated boss showdowns to wrap things up.
If you're near their level range, there are good reasons to farm them. These dungeons can reward you with useful drops like:
- Training Dew, which is used for increasing Weapon Mastery.
- 500 Abyssal Contract Token Points, which can be used for farming open-world dungeons.
- Rare (blue) gear of all sorts, which you can use or feed to a Lithograph Book for crafting.
- Quality Polished Crystals, which are used in crafting nearly any green gear.
Here are all the three pre-50 Co-op Dungeons in Throne and Liberty:
Note that these three Co-op Dungeons are also the site of a side-quest chain tied to the Chapter 4 Adventure Codex. After finishing the quest, you can take the Dimensional Circle Researcher Paola Appendix, which requires you to collect three of Paola's Research Journals scattered throughout the three Co-op Dungeons in Throne and Liberty.
All 1-Star Dimensional Circle Dungeons
The 1-Star Dimensional Circle Dungeons are all accessible after you reach the max level in Throne and Liberty. One of the main forms of endgame PvE in this game, these are where you can get purple gear relatively easily. The drops from these include:
- Epic (purple) and Rare (blue) gear
- 500 Abyssal Contract Token Points
- Training Dew
- Dimensional Soul Shards, which can be used for crafting Epic Equipment Selection Chests, as well Common Trait Unlockstone Bundle
- Reaper's Soul, a crafting material
- Precious tier of Polished Crystals and ores
- Mana Blood, a cooking ingredient
- Exclusive Amitoi
All the 1-Star Dimensional Circle (Lvl 50) Co-op Dungeons in Throne and Liberty require CP 1600 to enter, as well as 330 Dimensional Contract Tokens to get the final drop. These are:
Note that three of these dungeons are essentially lvl 50 rehashes of regular Dimensional Circle dungeons and bosses:
- Death's Abyss is similar to Specter's Abyss.
- Temple of Slaughter is similar to Roaring Temple.
- Cave of Destruction is similar to Cave of Desperation.
The rest, however, have original bosses with unique movesets you'll need to learn.
Event Dungeons
During certain annual events, Throne and Liberty may have an event-exclusive boss. The first example of this since the global release is Haunted Labyrinth, a dungeon exclusive to the Haunted Harvest event during Halloween.
