Throne and Liberty added a new endgame challenge, 2-Star Dungeons, with the most recent update. As of this writing, four dungeons have been added, with a fifth coming in early December 2024. There will be other dungeons like this included at a later date as well. This can be seen as a way to both, test your mettle against new content, and to get even more powerful gear.
These were a part of the 1.7.0 update, though the 2-Star Dungeons dropped a few days later in Throne and Liberty. If you aren’t satisfied with the end-game content and want tougher dungeons, these should be the next destination for you in this MMORPG.
What are 2-star Dungeons in Throne and Liberty?
2-Star Dungeons were added to Throne and Liberty on November 21, 2024. These are the newest end-game challenges and feature two mini-bosses and a final boss in each of them. The rewards here are great, including powerful gear, and “highly sought-after world boss loot”.
At the time of writing, there are only four of these dungeons out. A fifth, Torture Chamber of Secrets, will launch on December 5, 2024. Below is the list of currently available 2-Star dungeons:
- Carmine Rage Island
- Island of Terror
- Valley of Slaughter
- Voidwastes
- Torture Chamber of Secrets (Dec. 5)
That said, before you can even try to tackle 2-Star Dungeons in Throne and Liberty, you need to have at least 2500 CP to enter. Each dungeon has unique mechanics, two mini-bosses, and a boss as far as combat content goes. In addition, there are new Codex Exploration Quests to uncover in these dungeons, which offer even further rewards for you.
Another new feature of the 2-Star Dungeons in Throne and Liberty is that they use a new set of Dimensional Contract Tokens, so you don’t have to worry about having the previous currency on hand to claim rewards. This should make players start on more or less the same foot.
Each dungeon also has its own loot table to keep in mind, as it pertains to the big rewards. You can see the potential loot below for each dungeon, to perhaps inform which of these challenges you wish to take on first.

What’s interesting about these 2-Star Dungeons in Throne and Liberty, is that each appears to mostly focus on particular gear slots. There are other drops as well, but primarily, if you’re looking for specific armor, it will lead you to particular dungeons.
For example, if you’re trying for a powerful build, want the Shadow Harvester gear, and are missing one or two pieces, you have a shot at finding several of them in these new dungeons.
