The second act Destiny 2 Episode Echoes is just another week away from releasing on the official servers. Bungie has promised to deliver a narrative that will lead into a new saga of the next expansion, all while releasing fresh content three times every Episode. With the release of Act 2, the community will be getting five extra Artifact perks added to the Hunter's Journal seasonal Artifact.

With the developer livestream on July 9, Bungie did reveal official footage of upcoming Echoes Battlegrounds, new weapons in Act 2, alongside the Artifact perks in the bottom row.

List of new Artifact perks and what they do in Destiny 2 Episode Echoes Act 2

Artifact perks are one of the most important aspects of the game because they define any ongoing meta in a season. For example, it can be easily assumed that Solar Sniper Rifles will deal significantly increased damage to enemies with just precision hits. The powerful Still Hunt Exotic or the Whisper of the Worm Exotic will become even more powerful than what they already are.

Solar Sniper Rifles can inflict Scorch debuff, which can lead to Ignite. Aside from stunning Barrier Champions, players will be able to stun Unstoppable Champions with Ignite debuff as well, all with the same weapon.

The total unlocks for the perks will remain at 12. Hence, to get all the new five perks, players must refund some of the existing perks from their loadout.
