All new Runes in WoW Classic SoD Phase 5 and where to find them

Instead of tons of new runes for WoW Classic SoD Phase 5, only two new ones were introduced, both for the ring slot. However, these are interesting in a different way. Instead of giving players titanic new powers exclusive to each class, the Rune of Meditation Specialization and Rune of Healing Specialization are multiple classes! The Rune of Healing Specialization, for example, can be used by all healing classes.

The Rune of Meditation Specialization can be used by every class that has Mana, so not for Rogues or Warriors. It appears those classes don’t benefit from either Rune. We’ve heard there are only two new runes in this update, but if something else is found, we’ll update this accordingly.

How to find the Rune of Meditation Specialization in WoW Classic SoD Phase 5

The Rune of Meditation in WoW Classic SoD Phase 5 can be found and used by Paladin, Hunter, Priest, Shaman, Mage, Warlock, and Druid players. If you equip this to your ring, it gives you 5 mana per 5 seconds permanently. However, you can’t stack both of these Runes on one character, the effects won’t stack. However, it is account-bound, so you can easily use this on any character once it’s found.

If you want this Rune in WoW Classic SoD Phase 5, head to the Thousand Needles zone, and head to the Shimmering Flats (80.0, 77.0). Just go inside the building and click on the book to pick up this powerful mana regeneration rune. This, when combined with the amazing new class-specific weapons can go a long way to increasing your casting capacity.

How to find the Rune of Healing Specialization in WoW Classic SoD Phase 5

The Rune of Healing Specialization in WoW Classic SoD Phase 5 can be found and used by Paladin, Priest, Shaman, Mage, and Druid players. Adding this effect to one of your rings will increase the healing done by spells and effects you utilize by up to 26. Again, you can only use one of these runes at a time.

While playing one of the above classes, head to Arathi Highlands and the Fladir’s Cove section of the map (34.1, 80.5). This is accessed by going to (21.0, 75.0) and going through the tunnel southeast of Stromgarde Keep. You’ll find the book just sitting on top of a crate that also has a coil of rope on it. Interact with it to claim the Rune.
