All Stronghold locations in SWTOR

Strongholds in Star Wars The Old Republic (SWTOR) are private residences that players can own and decorate and are found in various locations across the galaxy. Additionally, it comes along with directories, which are terminals from which you can buy and access Strongholds. Every Stronghold is a legacy-wide unlock, so you just have to purchase one and all your characters will get access to it.

This article will list locations for all the available Strongholds in SWTOR - purchasable ones and those you can get from Galactic Seasons.

How to unlock and access SWTOR Strongholds

Unlocking Strongholds in SWTOR does not require any extra effort. You just need to complete the quests on your starting planet and then travel to Fleet. Once there, you effectively unlock all purchasable Strongholds. The only thing you need next are credits for purchasing it and its expansions.

After your purchase, it gets added to your Stronghold selection window. You have to press 'U' to access the window, which is the default keybind for it. Once there, press 'Travel' and you will be transported to your Stronghold.

There are 13 Strongholds in total as of SWTOR update 7.5. Due to the one million credit cap on free-to-play and preferred players, they cannot access most of them. Only the Strongholds on Dromund Kaas, Coruscant, Nar Shaddaa, Imperial and Republic Fleets, and Copero are accessible.

All SWTOR Stronghold locations

All regular Strongholds can be bought from their respective directories located in the 'Strongholds and Crew Skills' section of both Imperial and Republic Fleets. Directories for the fleet Strongholds, Mek-Sha and Copero, are located at different spots, and they will be covered in their own portions.

Now, let's take a look at the locations where you can find each Stronghold in SWTOR separately.

Purchasable Strongholds and their locations in SWTOR

The first list of Strongholds mentioned here are the ones that are open for purchase. These are the regular Strongholds that you can buy with credits from their respective directories.

Dromund Kaas:

The directory 'Kaas City Apartment' can be found just before the Galactic Trade Network area in Kaas City. You need to walk to the left part of the map and go up the stairs to reach the directory. There are two directories located next to the green, holographic Imperial logo.

Only players from the Sith Empire faction have access to this directory. You can buy the 'Kaas City Apartment' for 5,000 credits, or 50 cartel coins.

Coruscant:

To get to the directory for the 'Coruscant Apartment', you need to go to the underground sector of the 'Senate Commercial District'. You need to take the stairs located close to the entrance of the Senate building. Once in the underground section, you need to go to the 'Crew Skills, Supplies, and Trade' section on the right side of the map.

The directory is available only to Republic players. The 'Coruscant Apartment' costs 5,000 credits or 50 cartel coins.

Nar Shaddaa:

The directory for the 'Nar Shaddaa Sky Palace' is located at the 'Lower Promenade'. Once you get to the Lower Promenade on Nar Shaddaa, you need to run to the large golden statue of Karagga the Unyielding located there. The directory is present next to the statue in the direction where the head is.

This directory is available to both Imperial and Republic players. The cost of the 'Nar Shaddaa Sky Palace' is 250,000 credits or 500 cartel coins.

Alderaan:

Imperial:

The directory for 'Alderaan Noble Estate' for the Sith Empire faction is located at the market just before the steps leading into House Thul. The directory is located right next to the Level 26 modifications vendor on the opposite side of the road to the cantina.

Republic:

The 'Alderaan Noble Estate' directory for the Galactic Republic faction is located right next to House Organa at the top of the map. It can be found in front of the platform with the Shining Star Taxi and the speeder vendor.

The 'Alderaan Noble Estate' is the most expensive Stronghold in the game. Its purchase price is 4,000,000 credits or 1900 cartel coins.

Yavin 4:

The directory for the 'Yavin 4 Temple' is located in the 'Coalition Staging' area on the map. It can be found right next to the Heroic Missions terminal present in the area.

The location of this SWTOR Stronghold directory is the same for players from both the Imperial and Republic factions. You can buy it for 2,500,000 credits, or 2500 cartel coins.

Tatooine:

Imperial:

The directory for 'Tatooine Homestead' for Imperial players is located right at the entrance of the 'Mos Ila Spaceport'.

Republic:

The location of the 'Tatooine Homestead' Stronghold for Republic players mirrors that of the Empire. It is situated right at the entrance of the Anchorhead Spaceport.

The Tatooine Stronghold comes with a standard purchase price of 2,500,000 credits or 2500 cartel coins.

Manaan:

The directory for the 'Manaan Retreat' is located inside the 'Welcoming Center' on Manaan. You need to travel to Manaan and get inside the 'Welcoming Center' building.

The location of this SWTOR Stronghold directory is at the end of the passage during the first turn. The 'Manaan Retreat' also comes at 2,500,000 credits or 2500 cartel coins.

Rishi:

The 'Rishi Hideout' directory is located in the 'Raider's Cove' area. You have to travel from the 'Raider's Cove Trade Port' to 'Raider's Cove'. If you have the map unlocked, you can quick travel to the 'Blaster's Path Cantina'. The directory is located between the cantina and the path leading to the trade port. The location is the same for both Imperial and Republic players.

The 'Rishi Hideout' is the largest Stronghold in the game and you can buy it for 3,000,000 credits, or 2,650 cartel coins.

Locations for SWTOR Strongholds from Galactic Seasons and unlocks

Umbaran train:

The 'Umbaran Mobile Base' is a special Stronghold that can only be accessed if you have unlocked the planet Odessen. Once there, you need to take the elevator to the 'Alliance Staging Area'. There, you have to go to an NPC named Nessl Vaccan, who is marked as 'Recovered Goods Vendor'.

You then need to buy an item from Nessl, which is called 'Invitation: Trader's Quarters', and costs 3,010,000 credits. This will give you access to the 'Trader's Quarters' section in the room. That is the location of the directory for this SWTOR Stronghold. You can then purchase the 'Umbaran Mobile Base' for 5,000 credits, or 50 cartel coins.

Imperial Fleet:

The 'Vaiken Spacedock Penthouse' can be bought only through Galactic Seasons tokens. You need to go to the 'Supplies' section on the Imperial Fleet and get the 'Vaiken Spacedock Penthouse Deed' from the non-seasonal Galactic Seasons vendor. Once you get the deed, you can unlock the penthouse from its directory located just in front of the non-seasonal vendor in the 'Supplies' section.

You need to have eight Seasons Tokens in order to buy the 'Deed'. Once you get the deed and consume it, you get ownership of the 'Vaiken Spacedock Penthouse.'

Republic Fleet:

The 'Carrick Station Penthouse' is the mirrored counterpart to the 'Vaiken Spacedock Penthouse'. Unlocking and accessing it is the same as the Imperial one.

The only difference is that you have to buy the 'Carrick Station Penthouse Deed' and be on the Republic Fleet to access the directory. The directory is located in front of the vendor in the 'Supplies' section, like that of the Imperial Fleet.

Just like the penthouse itself, the price is also the same as the Imperial one. You need eight Seasons Tokens to buy the deed and access it.

Mek-Sha:

The 'Mek-Sha Safehouse' is another Stronghold that can only be purchased with Galactic Seasons tokens. The locations for the directories of this SWTOR Stronghold can be found only on the planet Mek-Sha. If you are an Imperial player, the directory is located at the 'Red Zone', in front of where you spawn.

If you are on a Republic character, the directory will be located in 'Junker's Junction'. Just like on the Imperial side, it will be in front of the place where you spawn.

You need 14 Galactic Seasons Tokens to purchase the 'Mek-Sha Safehouse Deed' from the non-seasonal vendor in the 'Supplies' section. After that, you just need to consume the 'Deed' to get access to the safehouse.

Copero:

The 'Copero Villa' is the newest Stronghold in SWTOR. It was introduced as a reward for the 5th iteration of Galactic Seasons, "Building a Foundation", which dropped just a couple of months prior to SWTOR's major update, 'Desperate Defiance'. The 'Copero Villa' was a level 1 reward for this Galactic Season.

The directory for the Copero Villa is located in the 'Supplies' section of the Fleet, right next to the directory for the fleet penthouse Stronghold. The location of this SWTOR Stronghold directory is the same in both the Imperial and Republic Fleets. You can find another directory in the 'Alliance Staging Area' on Odessen.

Since 'Copero Villa' is a reward for Season 5 of 'Galactic Seasons', the Stronghold can only be purchased as long as this season is active. It is a free unlock for all players who complete the first 'Reward Level' of this 'Galactic Seasons.'
