Throne and Liberty will be released on PC and consoles on October 1, 2024, with a host of servers in five different regions. A recent blog post on the game's official website gave us some insight into the number of servers per region as well as other key details. Being a free-to-play MMO, a big surge of Western players is expected on launch day.
The game will also have an Early Access phase starting September 26, with dedicated servers that enthusiastic players can jump into. However, there will be some character transfer restrictions from Early Access and Full Launch servers on release.
How many servers will Throne and Liberty have at launch?
On the day of launch (October 1 EDT) Throne and Liberty will have 21 servers split across five server regions. This is distributed according to the expected player count and is not an even split. The following are the regions as well as the names of the servers available at launch:
- North America (NA) East: Morokai, Helpie, Benediction, Whisperion, Lottie
- North America (NA) West: Henry, Clay, Soulfire
- South America (SA) East: Berserk, Citadel, Glacier
- Europe (EU) Central: Vortex, Penance, Starfall, Torrent, Adriana, Corneilus, Excavator, Benny
- Asia Pacific (AP) Northeast (Tokyo): Salvation, Alexia
Should the need arise, the developers also have reserve servers that will be launched to accommodate a player overflow:
- North America (NA) East: Oath, Sanctuary, Dracoryft
- North America (NA) West: Tiago, Veron, Ashur
- South America (SA) East: Grace, Felix, Mornin
- Europe (EU) Central: Zarek, Arkhan, Basilisk
- Asia Pacific (AP) Northeast (Tokyo): Aridus, Taion, Bailey
Throne and Liberty have p2p trading centralized in Auction Houses. Fortunately, this won't be limited to a single server. Instead, the Auction Houses across a server region will form a cluster to allow trading between all servers in that region.

Throne and Liberty Early Access servers: How will server transfer work?
Much like the full launch servers, Throne and Liberty will have 21 servers at Early Access (and 15 more to be rolled out in case of player overflow). The initial set of these Early Access servers will open on September 26 at 10 AM PST (5 PM UTC), but there will be no additional ones after the Full Launch.
However, if the Early Access servers don't hit their population cap, even non-Early Access players can create a character on these on and after October 1. However, as mentioned earlier, there will be some server transfer restrictions. Specifically, you can transfer a Full Launch character to an Early Access server, but not vice versa. This restriction will be lifted "when the time is right", as the post says.
