Arcane Embrace god roll guide for Destiny 2 PvE and PvP

Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost introduces a new shotgun called Arcane Embrace. It is an Arc weapon that comes with a new shotgun archetype and is expected to perform similarly to other Heavy Burst weapons, such as Warden's Law, Bold Endings, and more. However, as a special weapon, this weapon is likely to have significantly increased Impact damage, alongside a few powerful perks.

The following perks are recommended on the Arcane Embrace Shotgun for PvE:

Arrowhead Brake for increased Handling and reduced recoil
Appended Mag for increased magazine size
Grave Robber for reloading the weapon after hitting enemies with Charged melee, or melee final blows
Surrounded for increased damage when more enemies are nearby

Fourth Time's the Charm is a great perk if you can land precision hits on the enemy, with Precision Instrument to be paired as a damage option. For a more add-clearing approach, Voltshot can help clear out rooms, alongside Threat Detector for increased utility with more enemies nearby.

The following perks are recommended on the Arcane Embrace Shotgun for PvP:

Smallbore for increased Stability and Range
Accurized Rounds for increased Range
Slideshot for increased Range after sliding
Closing Time for increased Range, Accuracy, and Handling as the magazine gets lower

Swashbuckler can be a decent damage perk with weapon and melee kills, alongside Lone Wolf for more stats.

How to get Arcane Embrace in Destiny 2?

Arcane Embrace can be farmed from the Festival of the Lost activity and can be focused from Eva Levante at the Tower. Note that event-exclusive weapons cannot be crafted, so you must obtain the weapons and their perks as drops only.

Since the Arcane Embrace is the newest Lost weapon, you can also expect the weapon to be dropped with curated perks upon completing an introductory mission.
