ARK Survival Ascended: All Dino color ID list (console commands)

ARK Survival Ascended allows its players to change the color of their dinosaurs using console commands. The process is simple; however, you need to know the various color IDs to paint them accordingly. However, altering the appearance of your dino requires you to be in solo mode or gain admin access if you're on a dedicated server.

That said, we have listed all the colors and dyes available in the game and a guide on how you can color your dinosaurs.

How to change Dino colors in ARK Survival Ascended through console commands

First of all, you need to enable console commands by going to the settings menu, opening the Advanced tab, and turning on the Console Access. Once you’ve done this, you can use the console commands.

If you are on a dedicated server, you can either ask an admin to give you access or use the "Enablecheats (Admin Password)" command with the server password to gain access.

Depending on what platform you're playing the game on, you can access the Admin Command Console by:

• Pressing the “~” key if you're on PC
• Pressing L1, R1, Square, and Triangle together in you’re on PS5
• Pressing RB, LB, X, and Y together if you’re on Xbox

Now that you’ve figured out how to access Admin Command Console, you can use the setTargetDinoColor command to paint your dino. However, there are a few things about color and command that you need to know beforehand.

First, you can paint certain regions on your dinosaur using the command, and not all of it at once. There are six regions on a dinosaur, denoted by the numbers 0-5, that you can paint differently or the same color if you want.

The other thing is the ID of the color you want to paint your dinosaur with. Once you’re all set with the region and the ID, you can use the command format “setTargetDinoColor <region> <color-id>” to paint your dino.
