ARK Survival Ascended: Best Giganotosaurus spawn locations in The Center map

The Center map in Ark Survival Ascended was released just a few days ago, and it features several dinosaurs, including the Giganotosaurus. Being is a potent dino, players must get a hold of Giganotosaurus early to conquer this map. Having a powerful tame serves many purposes, such as an increase in combat power and defense.

Giganotosaurus' massive size makes it easily identifiable from a distance. It is about three times the size of a Rex and roughly the same size as a Brontosaurus.

As Giganotosaurus is rare, there are only a few places where you will spot this dinosaur. Considering the chances of finding one are low, searching for the beast can be hectic. There are currently two places on the Center map in ARK Survival Ascended where Giganotosaurus spawns and we have listed them below for you.

Giganotosaurus spawn locations in ARK Survival Ascended: The Center Map

1) Lava Island (Coordinates: 9.7 Latitude and 65.8 Longitude)

Lava Island is the main spawn location of Giganotosaurus in The Center Map, and it is guaranteed that you will spot one here. On Lava Island, Giganotosaurus tends to spawn in the upper right corner, along the beach area. This area is heavily populated with various creatures that the massive Giganotosaurus will often follow and eat.

The only downside is that The Centre Map now has a new lava update. At certain times, Giganotosaurus can walk into the lava, which will kill it. Giganotosaurus seem to wander around the area, so if you do not find it in one spot, it is recommended to search around the area.

2) Snow Island (Coordinates: 21.8 Latitude and 32.2 Longitude)

Snow Island in ARK Survival Ascended is located next to Lava Island. While it is possible to find Giganotosaurus here, the chances of finding one are considerably lower. One of the main reasons is its structure as the terrain of Snow Island has cliffs from which Giganotosaurus can fall, making it harder to spot them.

They tend to drop down from the higher layers of cliffs to the lower ones. So, if you need to find one, you are more likely to find them at lower elevations.

Occasionally, Giganotosaurus has been seen inside a cave on the Floating Island. However, this is not a guaranteed spawn for these large, aggressive beasts. While there is a chance of you finding them there, you are much more likely to find one in the two locations listed above.
