Plant Species X in Ark Survival Ascended are defensive plants you can use in your base as turrets. They are great for defense as they slow down a target while blinding them and inflicting damage. Before you head out looking for Plant Species X in Ark Survival Ascended, you must know what it looks like. It is a small, bushy plant with orange fruits with a hint of red, resembling dragon fruits. While the plant's bright color makes it easier to find, it can be hard to locate if you don’t know where to look.

The Center has a Floating island with a large swamp biome surrounding it, where you can find the Plans Species X. However, they’re not available throughout the swamp. There are large pillar-like structures all over this biome, where you must search to find them.

Once you locate these pillars, you can look for the plant at their bottom. While the plants can also be found in other places, the pillars are where they exist in large quantities. You can also take a gathering tame, such as the Ankylosaurs, to make the gathering process efficient.

The swamp biome is one of the most dangerous biomes on the map, as various lethal beasts linger around the area. Consider taking a strong tame with you to fight off any creature that tries to attack you. An Argentavis or an Allosaurs can be a great choice to bring with you while searching for Plant Species X in Ark Survival Ascended.
