While players can acquire dinos by taming them, hatching eggs is also a great way of getting them in Ark Survival Ascended. While many consider this process to be tiring, hatched beasts can be stronger than tamed ones. To hatch them, players must first acquire them, and the easiest method to do that is by breeding dinos. Once they breed, they will drop eggs that players can incubate and hatch.

While hatching can be a great way to get strong creatures, not many players know how to do it. This guide will explain how one can incubate and hatch eggs in Ark Survival Ascended.

Like in real life, eggs in Ark Survival Ascened also need warmth. Players can incubate by putting them at the right temperature. There are various ways, but the best method is using fire or air conditioners. While these are the best ways to incubate them, players at the early stages of the game might not be in the position to get them.

At that point, they can use standing torches to incubate their eggs. To use the standing torches, they must first craft three to four standing torches and place them in the ground, leaving some space in the middle. They can then light them up and put the egg in the middle; doing so can provide warmth to it and start the incubation process. They can check the incubation process by looking at the Incubation bar on the Ark Survival Ascended egg.

One must keep checking the temperature and the incubation process. Its temperature needs and the source of the heat need to be checked properly. Players must turn the torches off or on depending on the Incubation bar. If the bar is decreasing, the temperature is right. They can also use other forms of heat for incubation, such as campfires, Otters, and more to hatch eggs in Ark Survival Ascended.

Those in the late game who have already set a generator in their base can use air conditioners to incubate the egg. They should simply set up some and place them in front; once the temperature is right, the eggs will start incubating. The number of air conditioners needed may vary on its type; the stronger the Ark Survival Ascended dinosaur egg, the more air conditioners it will require.

Hatching an egg in Ark Survival Ascended is very simple; players will only have to put it at the right temperature and check it occasionally. Once the Incubation bar is full, it will hatch, giving them a baby dino. The hard process comes once the dinosaurs are hatched.

Once they have hatched a baby dinosaur, players must first give it a name and interact with it to claim it. After they have claimed the dino, they can successfully imprint on it, which they can do by performing various tasks. The tasks to imprint the baby include giving it cuddles, taking it on a walk, and feeding it.

Players must note that giving more attention to the baby during the imprinting process makes it stronger by increasing its stats. They are suggested to interact as much as they can with the baby dino to make it stronger. Once everything has been done perfectly, they will have a strong dino in Ark Survival Ascended, one that will have bonus stats when the one who hatched it rides on it.
