As Diablo 4 Season 6 looms on the horizon, it’s time to look at the best class/spec players will be able to take. There are plenty of builds that are going to be spectacular in this season, just looking at the patch notes. However, it’s worth pointing out that this is purely speculation. We’ll have to see if this winds up being the most powerful, but we’ve got a really good feeling about it going forward.
In previous seasons, Rogue and Necromancer led the way. Penetrating Shot Rogue was most overpowered in Season 5, and Minion Necromancer was the best in the season before that. While I feel Minion Necromancer is incredibly close in Season 6, the most powerful build in Season 6 of Diablo 4 is going to be the Gorilla/Jaguar Spiritborn.

The Gorilla/Jaguar Spiritborn is the best class in Diablo 4 Season 6
Based on what we know about Spiritborn, it’s the best Diablo 4 Season 6 class. An agility-based class, Spiritborn can channel the power of four different animal spirits. They also have a class quest that allows them to make all abilities count as specific animal spirits - Gorilla, Jaguar, Eagle, or Centipede.
While I am most interested in Centipede for all the amazing poison powers, I don’t think that’s where the money is. The money is in Thorns, and Gorilla provides that, alongside some serious tankiness and crowd control. It could easily wind up tankier than Druid or Barbarian, that’s for sure. As far as combat powers go, Crushing Hand and Rock Splitter will be from Gorilla.
You combine the Gorilla powers with Jaguar, which helps you build Ferocity. Ferocity increases your Attack Speed by 5% per stack you get and can stack up to four times for four seconds unless you find abilities/gear that increase the stack amount. Your Ultimate will be Adaptable Stances to help give you plenty of defensive stats.
You build Ferocity each time you kill an enemy or boss, so you can keep this going for a long time. In particular, this means a must-have skill is Ravager. It’s one of the best abilities for the class, and virtually every Spiritborn will be using this.
Since all skills are Gorilla skills, you can easily keep yourself racking up Thorns bonuses, Barriers, and stomping down on enemies with complete impunity. Honestly, I think no matter what Spiritborn build you go, it’s going to be the best class in Diablo 4 Season 6.
But as the strength of enemies goes up, being able to withstand tons of damage, and dish it back via Thorns is going to be something you want on your side.
