Destiny 2 has a prevalent saying, "Guardians settle their grudges in The Crucible." The Crucible comprises all the PvP activities that the game has to offer. Everything can be found under this activity node on the director, from Trials of Osiris to the Competitive mode to the casual playlist. Although most of the player base loves to focus on the PvE side of the story, many players wish to battle it out with fellow Guardians.

Loadouts are an essential feature in Destiny 2. Without the appropriate setups, it's tough to come out on top when battling it out against other Guardians. Here are some exciting loadouts that players can use in PvP.

Note: This article is subjective and reflects the writer's opinions.

What are the best PvP loadouts for Destiny 2 Lightfall

Before going on to the loadouts, you must understand that not all armor mods will work in PvP. In this mode, Recovery takes precedence over Resilience. To make things even more interesting, the unflinching and weapon-targeting mods also play an essential role in building the perfect PvP loadout.

Those aside, the following pointers will consider the Exotics you can use, along with some of the weapons and their perks you should consider taking into the build. Moreover, most Exotic armor pieces in the game have specific subclass collaborations, so the ones with neutral passives work better in Destiny 2 PvP. With that said, here are some of the best PvP builds in the game right now.

1) Omnioculus Hunter

The Omnioculus is a very versatile Exotic armor piece in the game. Not only does it perform brilliantly in end-game PvE activities like raids and Grandmaster Nightfalls, but it also works well in PvP. With this Exotic, you'll receive two smoke bomb charges. You'll get damage resistance for a short duration whenever you use it on yourself and your allies. If you make your allies invisible, you receive additional melee energy.

You'll need to use the Trapper's Ambush Aspect to get this build to work efficiently. It'll allow you to use Quickfall, an ability that causes you to divebomb and make your allies in your vicinity invisible. Pair it up with the Echo of Remnants fragment for high invisibility uptime.

2) Knucklehead Radar Hunter

This is another Hunter Exotic extremely useful in Destiny 2 PVP. Whenever you aim down the sights, you lose your radar. It comes back when you're hip firing. With the Knucklehead Radar equipped, your radar will stay even when you're aiming down the sights. While the radar doesn't do much, it does give you an approximate location of the enemy, allowing you to plan out your moves in advance.

Also, your radar will work better whenever you crouch, incentivizing you to crouch your way into engagements in The Crucible.

3) Ophidian Aspect Warlock

The Ophidian Aspect is a neutral Exotic for Warlocks in Destiny 2 PvP. While it does not work with any of the subclass affinities in the game, it does increase the weapon ready and reload speed and increases your melee range. What makes this Exotic important? There's a considerable amount of delay when you're switching between two weapons in the game. With this Exotic equipped, that delay is almost negligible. Not only that, you reload weapons quite quickly as well.

Furthermore, since it increases your melee range, you can quickly deploy your melee and finish your opponent off if you've dealt enough damage, but you have to stop to reload your gun! Going hands-on is always better than reloading your weapon, so this Exotic helps you capitalize on that.

4) Synthoceps Titan

Titans are mostly known for their Melee prowess in The Crucible. You can punch through other Guardians with this Exotic armor piece for Titans. Pair this with the Arc subclass, and you'll be a thunderous mass, decimating anything that dares to stand in your way. What this Exotic does is it increases your melee lunge range and increases melee damage when you're surrounded.

If you time your attacks well, you can one-shot your enemies with one punch. It's by far the deadliest of Exotics in The Crucible right now. To make things even more interesting, since it's the SMG meta right now, you can always pair the build-up with The Immortal or Rufus Fury, provided you have the Target Lock perk on them.

5) Heart of Inmost Light Titan

Just like the Omnioculus Hunter, the Heart of Inmost Light is yet another all-rounder when it comes to Exotic chest pieces in Destiny 2. When you trigger an ability in an activity, the others are empowered. Whenever an ability is empowered, it recharges quickly and works better. For melee and grenades, they have a higher damage output, and Titan barricades have more hitpoints.

In Destiny 2 PvP, the cycle works like this. You deploy your barricade and trigger the Heart of Inmost Light intrinsic perk. You toss a grenade toward the enemy and deal damage with your weapons. To clean up, charge in with your melee. Surprisingly enough, the same holds for PvE activities in Destiny 2!
