Wind Shear Druid is a Diablo 4 Season 4 build that’s really taken the internet by storm. It’s powerful for a few reasons. Perhaps the most important one is that the way you unlock its true power doesn’t take a ton of end-game grinding. There is a unique that makes it better, but it’s not a hard requirement. This is a build that puts up a few Wolves to take aggro off your character and poison everything to death.

What makes this really start going is Aspect of the Calm Breeze. There’s a Tempering Manual that makes it more powerful too - giving your Wind Shear a chance to trigger twice. If you want to run around, poison enemies, and watch them die swiftly, Wind Shear Druid is for you in Diablo 4 Season 4.

To be honest, Wind Shear Druid in Diablo 4 Season 4 is an incredibly boring build - in that you aren’t doing anything exciting. You just use Wind Shear - now with poison action - on everything, and run around. You pop cooldowns to increase your defensive capabilities, and thanks to some buffs from the 1.4.3 patch, it’s in an even better position to be impressive.

Wind Shear is a really interesting ability. It counts as a Basic, Storm, and Nature Magic ability, so it brings a titanic amount of synergy from your other Affixes in the Codex. Once you have Calm Breeze (Grinning Labyrinth) and Rapid (Buried Halls), you can start running this build, quite frankly.

Since you’re using a Basic Skill, you don’t have to worry about it running you out of Spirit. You can just spam Wind Shear to your heart's content, and inflict poison on everyone. By careful use of your buffs (Blood Howl, Trample, Cyclone Armor, Debilitating Roar), and letting your Wolves hold aggro, you can clear the deepest levels of The Pit with ease, and any other challenge that comes your way.

This build likely will use a few uniques - Godslayer Crown/Tempest Roar, and Yen’s Blessing. The helmet is less of a necessity - I’ve seen people go without, but why not get one if you can? If you're going deep into The Pit, I do recommend it as a must-have, though.

You can also run Tyreael’s Might - and since it’s easier to farm Uber Uniques, it’s far less stressful. If this is the case, put Might on your pants, and just remove Hectic period. There are other pieces of equipment you can run as well when it comes to uniques, but I don’t think they are as necessary.

You don’t need a ton of complicated, hard-to-get Affixes, either. You’ll probably notice that most of your affixes are focused on Debilitating Roar - it’s an incredibly powerful ability, and it allows us to spam Wind Shear safely. You'll also want a series of gems in your gear: Ruby for Armor, Topaz for weapons, and Diamonds for your jewelry.
