In response to this devastating event, the South Korean government has declared a seven-day mourning period — from December 29, 2024, to January 4, 2025. Respecting this decision, on December 30, Pearl Abyss announced that they were going to postpone all scheduled New Year’s community events and greetings videos.
In their statement, the studio shared their condolences with the families, who have lost their loved ones. They also confirmed that all planned activities would be revisited and rescheduled after the mourning period.
