You might want to import your character preset in Once Human for many reasons, especially now that the game finally allows players to create new characters, a feature that was absent at launch. After spending hours making your perfect Meta Human in the Character Creator, having to redo all that work if you wish to change servers can be quite frustrating. Thankfully, you can import your character preset in Once Human.

The process of creating a new character and importing the previous one's preset in Once Human is quite complicated. And there are certain limitations to this feature.

For starters, while you can create a new character, you can't do it on the same server where you already have an existing avatar. Additionally, there is no option to delete a character in Once Human. So, if you want to start over with a new one, you have to do it on a different server.

To import your character preset in Once Human, you must have an image of its Face Design, which you can only save in the Character Creation menu.

If you didn't save your unit's Face Design at the beginning of your playthrough, you can do it later by using a Chrysalis Token at the Floor Mirror in your base. This will grant you access to the Character Creator. However, there is no way to obtain this token through gameplay; it can only be acquired by spending real money in the Shop.

You can save your character preset by clicking the Share Data option at the top right of the Character Creation menu. This will take a picture of your character's Face Design with a QR Code.

To import your character preset, click the Import Data option in the top-right corner of the Character Creation menu, right beside the Share Data option.
Click the Plus icon to navigate to your directory and select the saved Face Design image.
