Corrasion is the new Pulse Rifle that got added to the Destiny 2 Echoes loot pool in Act 2. It is an Arc Heavy Burst Pulse Rifle that fires at two bursts with significantly more damage than other Pulse Rifle archetypes. Currently, players will find the 'Nullify' weapon from Salvation's Edge Raid that shares the same archetype.

This article lists the best perks on the Corrasion Arc Pulse Rifle for PvE and PvP. Note that this weapon is craftable since it is associated with the Echoes loot pool. Additionally, unlike the re-issued Dawn weapons in the same pool, these gear pieces are completely new.

The best perks on the Corrasion for PvE are as follows:

Arrowhead Brake for increased recoil control and Handling on the weapon
Appended Mag for increased magazine size
Enlightened Action for increased Reload Speed and Stability after dealing damage
Voltshot for jolting a target. The buff can be gained after reloading on kills.

The perks mentioned above are meant for clearing groups of small mobs. For a more elite/boss DPS approach, players can go for High-Impact Reserves and One for All.

The best perks on the Corrasion for PvP are as follows:

Hammer Forged Rifling for increased Range on the weapon
Accurized Rounds for even more Range on the weapon
Perpetual Motion for increased Stability, Handling, and reload speed on the weapon
Eye of the Storm for increased Accuracy and Handling as the user's health gets lower

Frenzy is another great damage perk in PvP. It should be noted that Corrasion has increased base Impact and Range, which only leaves Stability as the main downpoint against other Guardians. Steady Rounds can be a decent choice in the magazine slot instead of Accurized Rounds, alongside Smallbore for a balance between Stability and Range.

How to get Corrasion in Destiny 2?

Corrasion is a seasonal Pulse Rifle that can be obtained from the Failsafe vendor at the HELM, as well as from Echoes Battlegrounds seasonal activity. It is recommended that players obtain all five Deepsight copies and then craft the weapon with the best perks.
