Ded Gramarye IV is one of the most unique Shotguns in Destiny 2. From the outside, the weapon might look like a regular Special Lightweight Framed Arc gear piece, one of thousands in the game. However, Ded Gramarye IV is the only weapon outside the Special Grenade Launcher archetype to roll the perk 'Chain Reaction' in it.

The presence of Chain Reaction not only opens up a window for multiple new build potentials, but Bungie also fits another perk called "Discord" in the third column. This combination fixes the long-standing issue of ammo economy for Shotguns in PvE, paving the way for the weapon type in heavy-duty roles again.

Here is a list of all the perks available for PvE:

Smallbore for increased Stability and Range
Accurized Rounds for increased range on the weapon
Discord for getting ammunition refunded upon final blows. Enhanced version grants 8 seconds of this perk
Chain Reaction for an elemental explosion with final blows

Note that the "Wild Card" Origin Trait states that any final blow has a chance to spawn an experimental submunition. This is equivalent to a Telesto bolt in the game. However, final blows with these submunitions will activate the Chain Reaction perk as well.

The trick is to keep a potent primary ammo that can shut down enemies quickly for the Discord perk. A Bow is a great choice in this case.

Eddy Current and Voltshot is a fun combination for Arc or Prismatic builds.

Full Choke for tightened barrel so that the pallet doesn't spread
Accurized Rounds for more Range in the weapon
Threat Detector for increased reload, Stability, and Handling when enemies are nearby
Chain Reaction for an elemental explosion with a kill

Vorpal Weapon is another great perk for countering roaming supers.

How to get Ded Gramarye IV in Destiny 2?

Ded Gramarye IV can be acquired from world drop sources, such as Legendary Engrams, Prime Engrams, regular drops from any activity, and Banshee's shop. While all the perks of the Ded Gramarye IV can be enhanced, players cannot acquire a Deepsight version of this weapon for craftable patterns.
