Destiny 2 Echoes Battleground is the new seasonal activity introduced with the Episode Echoes in The Final Shape. This edition of the Battleground comes in the form of three new Strike missions, with multiple encounters, bosses, collectibles, and simple mechanics to bypass an encounter. The reason it has been termed as "Battleground" is because Bungie has provided players with a single node that has the chance to launch any one of the three available Battlegrounds in a single run.

Hence, launching the standard Battleground, or the Expert, has the chance to roll either the Delve, Conduit, or Core from the pool. This article lists everything related to each of them, including the rewards, modifiers, and a walkthrough to make things easier in high-tier runs.

Destiny 2 Echoes Battleground full guide explained

1) Destiny 2 Echoes Battleground Delve

Delve came in as the first Battleground in Act 2 Echoes and is now a part of the three Battlegrounds that are available in the starting node of HELM. You are spawned at the front of the Well of Echoes at the start of Battleground Delve, where your first objective is to collect Fallen data. Head forward and keep clearing the waves of Fallen enemies until you see marked enemies in the arena.

Defeat them to get the nine pieces of data. Once done, climb up to the objective marker and interact with the console to open the entrance inside the Well of Echoes. Keep going until you drop down the Well of Flame, eventually leading through a Vex portal, and onto a new location with a Vex pillar of Radiolite.

You will now come across the first boss arena where your only goal is to clear all the enemies present and do this throughout the two objectives that say "Breach the Well of Flame" and "Eliminate the Vex." After minutes of fighting, the floor will open up, leading you to the next section of the mission.

In the next section, defeat the two Servitors protecting a Fallen captain to unlock the passage. This is a traversal section with another Vex pillar of Radiolite. Traversing through this area should be easy, as you can follow an objective marker that leads to the final boss room.

Drop down to the final boss arena and start damaging the Fallen captain boss. At the first health phase, defeat the marked Servitors. Next, kill the Taken Captain boss to spawn another boss, which is a Vex Hydra. Since there are no health gate phases on this boss, you can use any Heavy weapon to wrap up the mission.

Expert rewards include Exotic armor pieces, high-stat Legendary armor pieces, Enhancement Ores, Ascendant Shards, seasonal weapons, and re-issued Dawn weapons.

2) Destiny 2 Echoes Battleground Conduit

Battleground Conduit consists of the same encounter pattern as Delve, with three main encounters and two traversal sections with Vex Radiolite pillars. Start by following the objective marker and dropping down, Keep progressing through the linear path by defeating every enemy in sight, or you can also ignore them. The objective at this stage should be "Delve into Nessus."

The objective for the next section should now be "Eliminate Vex." The enemies present here will be a mixture of Vex and Shadow Legion Cabal. Hence, you must kill everything to proceed to the next section.

Once done, the objective will then be updated to "Follow the Radiolaria," which is essentially the traversal section with the Vex Radiolite pillar. You can ignore everything and just follow the marker.

The next encounter requires you to protect your Ghost in the middle against different Vex enemies that will be coming from all sides. The enemies come in large numbers to overwhelm a fireteam. Once the counter reaches 100%, a new area will open up.

Follow the marker as usual, eventually leading to another traversal section. Keep going until you see a marker for the Rally banner, which will be the boss arena. The boss fight starts with a Minotaur spawning in the middle, alongside many Vex Goblines in front of the boss. Kamarian, the boss in question, has an invulnerable shield that needs to be unlocked via a mechanic.

The mechanic lies on the two platforms on the two sides of the boss arena, where players must hop on, let the platform turn white from red, and then hop off. Once both the platforms have been turned white, look at the wall behind the boss arena where Vex confluxes will appear. Shoot them to exhaust the invulnerable shield on the boss.

You now have 48 seconds to fully defeat the boss by draining its health bar. If you fail to defeat the boss during that time, the boss' shield will appear again, and you must repeat the same mechanic until you kill the boss.

Expert rewards are the same as Delve Battleground. Vex Harpies in Conduit will have Arc shields in the Expert version.

3) Destiny 2 Echoes Battleground Core

Core has the same number of encounters as Delve and Conduit, with three main encounters and two traversal sections. Since the objectives in Core Battlegrounds follow the standard pattern, this section of the article will only explain how the boss fight works.

Start the boss fight by shooting the Oracle, and then damage the boss until the first gate. As soon as the health bar reaches the first gate, a death trap will start rotating through the arena, forcing you to move constantly while damaging the boss as well. Note that the Cyclops boss will also move with you throughout the entire arena.

Keep an eye on the Vex confluxes that will eventually become vulnerable. Shoot them to summon a Vex milk pool that you can stand on and get a buff called "System Override."

This buff allows you to deal significantly more damage to the boss. While damaging, you will also see a Conflux beside the boss that you can shoot to temporarily freeze the death trap. This is your window to damage the boss as much as possible.

Repeat until the boss is dead. Expert rewards are the same as the other two Battlegrounds. Other modifiers for Expert difficulty across all three Battlegrounds include Galvanized for more health and stun resistance on enemies, random elemental surges, Barrier and Overload Champions, locked loadouts, and increased shielded enemies.

The required power level for Expert Battlegrounds is 2005, which is the Pinnacle cap with 5 power bonus added to it.
