Destiny 2 Episode Echoes roadmap: Iron Banner, Solstice, Act 2 & 3, and more

Destiny 2 Episode Echoes is the first episodic entry in the game. It will have three acts in total, with the first act already being released alongside The Final Shape expansion. Aside from the narrative quest steps and the season pass tier, not a whole lot has changed in terms of the entire loop. However, it remains important for players to stay updated with the meta.

This article lists everything coming in the future of Episode Echoes, including Iron Banner, the annual Solstice event, the final two acts of Echoes, and more.

Destiny 2 Episode Echoes complete roadmap (2024)

1) Iron Banner

The first Iron Banner in Destiny 2 The Final Shape and Episode Echoes is scheduled for July 2, 2024. Since this will mark the first week of Iron Banner, the dates of any future runs of the PvP events remain unknown for now.

When it comes to weapons, both the Crimil's Dagger and the Steady Hand will be added to the loot pool, alongside other weapons in the Iron Banner. Note that all weapons will be obtainable through focusing. The perks can be enhanced for all weapons that will be obtained in Iron Banner.

Players can expect Pinnacle challenges by running Iron Banner matches with the required elemental subclass, alongside weekly seasonal challenges for a fair bit of EXP as well.

2) Solstice

Solstice will be The Final Shape's first-ever annual event, where players celebrate with bonfire, kindlings, and Silver Leaves. The official launch date of Solstice has been announced to be August 6, 2024, which will carry on for three weeks until August 27, 2024.

This year, Solstice seems to be bringing a new Void Lightweight Framed Bow with an unconfirmed name. It has perks such as Destabilizing Rounds, Archer's Gambit, Repulsor Brace, Kill Clip, and more.

Other weapons in the Solstice pool, such as Crowning Dulogue Rocket Launcher, will have Reconstruction paired with Bait and Switch, alongside additional perks.

3) Act 2 and 3 of Episode Echoes

With the end of Act 1 in Destiny 2, players are wondering when the upcoming Acts will go live. Act 2 of Episode Echoes is scheduled for July 16, 2024, and Act 3 is scheduled for August 27, 2024, which seems to be right after Solstice's end.

Both the new acts are expected to bring in new Exotic weapons, Battleground activities, stories, and Legendary seasonal weapons to the game. Among these Legendary seasonal weapons, players will be getting Martyr's Retribution and Perfect Paradox, two fan favorites from Season of the Dawn.

Act 2 will also unlock the season pass tiers from 101 to 150. Act 3 will then unlock the last 50 tiers from 151 to 200.

Lastly, the seasonal Artifact "Hunter's Journal" will gain five additional perks with each Act, counting up to a total of seven columns by the end of Act 3.
