The Imbaru Engine in Destiny 2 is a strange little place. This is one of Savathun's designs, created to farm Imbaru. Week 8 in Season of the Witch saw the arrival of a new test known as the Navigation test. Like the two other tests, this is a small puzzle that can be solved to receive XP and offerings that can later be used in the Altars of Summoning.

How to solve Destiny 2 Imbaru Engine Navigation Test puzzle

Before moving on to the solution, you will have to unlock the Arcana card, which can be found in the Altars of Summoning mission in the game. Here, you will come across a crystal on a statue. Destroy this to unlock the card for yourself.

Once you've unlocked the card, you will have to complete Step 47 in the Bladed Path, which also happens to be the seasonal questline in Season of the Witch. After you've done that, you will safely be able to venture into the Destiny 2 Imbaru Engine to complete the Navigation Test.

To make your way to the Destiny 2 Imbaru Engine Navigation Test, you will have to first launch the activity. Once launched, you will have to clear the Cunning Test.

Once you've completed that, you will be able to travel through the Grav lift, which will take you to the room where you're able to access the door to the Strength Test.

Here's what you need to do after that.

• You do not need to repeat the Strength Test once again.
• Instead of heading into the Strength Test room, head to the room on the right.
• You will find a few traps in your way.
• Evade the traps and make your way to the second grav lift at the end of the trap room.
• This will take you to the Destiny 2 Imbaru Engine Navigation Test.

The idea of this test is simple. You will have to make note of the runes close to the room's door and then shoot the runes on the doors in front of you. Keep in mind that you will have to match the symbols and their elements. The solution to the Navigation Test is as follows:

• 1st Puzzle: Door two (Arc rune on the left)
• 2nd Puzzle: Door five (Solar rune on the top)
• 3rd Puzzle: Door four (Void rune on the right)
• Final Puzzle: The final solar rune can be found floating on top of you on the left side.

Shooting the final rune will conclude the Destiny 2 Imbaru Engine Navigation Test. However, you will die if you shoot the wrong rune, so take your time. It's not a timed exercise, so don't hesitate to consult this guide while attempting the challenge.

As for the rewards, for successfully completing the Navigation Test, you will receive a random weapon from the seasonal loot pool apart from offerings for the Altars of Summoning and XP. In some cases, you might also receive an Ascendant Shard, but those drop rarely.
