The final week of challenges for Master Salvation's Edge is currently active in Destiny 2. Starting July 23, players who have attempted all five challenges in the encounters will get the Iconoclast seal associated with the Raid. Additionally, Bungie has also made all challenges available for two weeks, allowing everyone to complete every triumph in a single run, instead of waiting for time-gated objectives.
This article lists everything related to the Coordinated Efforts challenge in Salvation's Edge Raid. Its name is a giveaway of the challenge, and as many might have already guessed, it has to do with all six players attacking simultaneously.
Disclaimer: Any mechanic related to this encounter will not be mentioned below. Readers are recommended to get accustomed to the mechanic first and then attempt the challenge.
How to complete the Coordinate Efforts challenge in Destiny 2 Salvation's Edge
The Varied Geometry challenge in Destiny 2 Salvation's Edge requires every player to destroy all six of Witness' glyphs within five seconds between each other. This means that if any one Glyph takes even a second more than five to destroy, the challenge will fail.
Hence, all six players must have the Glyphbreaker buff active at the same time and have a Glyph assigned to have a clean run.
For clarification's sake, "Glyphs" are the "buttons" stuck on the Witness' suit. Since there are six buttons, each player should assign a button to shoot. For example, there are two buttons on the shoulders of Witness, with four on the chest.
The players going for the shoulder buttons can easily call out "left shoulder" and "right shoulder." However, the players going for the chest buttons can number them starting from:
- 1, signifying the top-left button
- 2, signifying the top-right button
- 3, signifying the middle-right button
- 4, signifying the bottom-left button
When all six players are pursuing a Glyphbreaker buff, the process should be done in a subsequent order. The easiest way is to form two teams with three players each.
The first team will get the buffs by following the mechanic and calling out after getting the Glyphbreaker buff. The second team to get the Glyphbreaker buff now must follow the mechanic to get their three buffs from three shapes.
When three runners are pursuing their Glyphbreakers, the rest of the three players from the other team should be on add-clearing (mobs) duty. For example, when the first team is running for the Glyphbreaker, three members from the second team should clear out mobs throughout the arena. The same should be followed by the first team when the second team is running.
Once all six players have the Glyphbreaker, hop on the platform and break your assigned Glyph on the Witness.
Tips to complete the Varied Geometry challenge easily in Destiny 2
The only major problem you can face while picking up all six Glyphbreakers at once is the risk of having the Resonance countdown to 0. This is most likely to happen to the first player that picked up the Glyphbreaker. To bypass this, the first player can keep the Resonance stack at x1 at first, and then refresh the cooldown by picking up the buffs from the hands throughout the encounter.
A safe Resonance to refresh is the Square hand, which breaks through walls and shoots out horizontal Resonance beams.
The best builds for this encounter include Celestial Nighthawk Golden Gun Hunter, paired with a Linear Fusion Rifle. At the time of writing this article, Still Hunt x Celestial damage output has been significantly nerfed.
Any heavy Destiny 2 weapon that matches the elemental surge is recommended.
