The second week of Destiny 2 Salvation's Edge Master difficulty presents another challenge, now associated with the second encounter. The first boss, Herald of Finality, follows a specific mechanic similar to the first encounter while taking a lot of new aspects into account.

Here, all six players must be engaged with the mechanic, keeping the arena clean of adds (mob groups) simultaneously. Hence, things don't ease up even a bit when players have to complete challenges in the same encounter, alongside the modifiers of a Master difficulty.

This article lists the encounter challenges linked with the Herald of Finality boss. Completing a challenge in Master difficulty will guarantee an Adept weapon drop in the encounter loot pool, and prioritize the drop that a player doesn't already have.

Disclaimer: Any mechanic related to this encounter will not be mentioned below. Readers are recommended to get accustomed to the mechanics first, and then attempt the challenge.

How to complete the At Capacity challenge in Destiny 2 Salvation's Edge

The "At Capacity" challenge requires all players who are depositing resonances to deposit no less than three resonances at a time. Depositing one or two resonance(s) will result in a failed challenge. The depositing process comes just before the DPS phase, so every player should keep an eye on the left side of the screen and take note of the number of resonances they have.

If it is "x3," the player should deposit. If it is "x2" or "x1," the player should not deposit. The term "At capacity" refers to the number of stacks each player should have, which is three. One more stack from x3 of any Resonance means instant death.

Readers can refer to the detailed guide on the Herald of Finality boss encounter before attempting the challenge. Changes within this encounter include Overload Champions on each side of the Conduit that spawns when a player from each side gets called in the middle.

Tips to complete the Scenic Route challenge easily in Destiny 2

The hurdle of the challenge is that Conduit lockers will have two Resonances while depositing, instead of three. This leaves only three players with x3 Resonances each, who are eligible to deposit for the challenge to succeed. However, going with three players will leave very little time for the second phase of the boss fight.

Hence, the trick here is that one Conduit locker from either left or right will lock their side of the Conduit and run to the middle for an additional Resonance. This will now leave four players with x3 Resonance buff, including three plate-only players from three sides, and one Conduit locker from one side.

The other two Conduit lockers with x2 Resonance do not need to deposit, as four x3 Resonances are enough for maximum time. The Conduit locker in the middle should wait for the other player to gather a Resonance from the middle before locking the Conduit.

Weapons should be Sword with the elemental Surge damage type. However, avoid the Caster Framed archetype for Swords as they deal less Impact damage. Any Vortex Framed Sword will help you damage the boss and deal with Overload Champions.

For other weapons, Rocket-Assisted Framed Sidearms are recommended for taking care of string enemies from a distance, as Master difficulty can easily pin players down.
