Spoils of Conquest are exclusive currencies that can be farmed from Destiny 2 Raids. They have a minimal drop rate from each Raid, and can only be used to exchange specific Raid weapons or armor pieces. Each player can hold only a limited amount of Spoils in their inventory, so using them correctly before hitting the maximum stacks is recommended.
Since the involvement of Raids is often mentioned alongside Spoils, many players who prefer to play the game solo get thrown off by the idea of farming the currency. However, there is a way of getting multiple Spoils of Conquest as a solo player by mastering a little bit of mechanics, and a whole lot of maneuverability.
This article lists the best sources to gather Spoils of Conquest as a solo player. Note that this article does not mention how the mechanics for each encounter work in the Raids. Readers are recommended to get acquainted with every mechanic of the encounters mentioned below before getting into the farm.
Best solo Spoils farm in Destiny 2
To summarize the Destiny 2 Raids and their encounters, here is a short list of everything mentioned below:
- Chest in the opening encounter in Vow of the Disciple
- Four chests in Vault of Glass, from the opening encounter up to post-Gorgon's Labyrinth
- Two secret chests in Salvation's Edge
- Hidden chest in the King's Fall wall jumping puzzle
These four encounters are the easiest to farm Spoils of Conquest as a solo player.
Before going to the farm, it is necessary to know the process of getting certain checkpoints. 24/7 Twitch bot channels such as Luckbot9 or TravelersChosenTeam will help you get the checkpoints you want. Simply follow the instructions on their stream description, and put in as a command in the chat to queue.
1) Chest in Destiny 2 Vow of the Discipline opening
After defeating the first fake Savathun boss at the entrance, hop on your Sparrow and start doing the mechanics to get the Splinter to move. However, for a chest, you must perform additional mechanics while in the area. You can ignore all enemies as well since you will spawn at the exact location where you die due to the Pervading Darkness debuff.
The additional mechanic requires you to destroy three Darkness resonance crystals to open the door to the chest room. Each chest grants 5x Spoils of Conquest, and you can do this for all three characters for 15x Spoils of Conquest each week in your account.
You can refer to a full detailed guide on the Vow of the Disciple secret chest.
2) Four chests in Destiny 2 Vault of Glass
Start by collecting a post-Templar checkpoint that will allow you to spawn on the boss arena. From there, head back to the first gate of the opening encounter by climbing up using Strand grapple, and you can get the first chest here. Head inside and make your way to the usual location of the secret chest.
Next, make your way to Gorgon's Labyrinth to destroy three Confluxes for the hidden chest. You can wipe as many times as you want here to reset the Gorgons' pathing. For the final chest, head to the usual location just before the Atheon room.
Doing this for three characters adds up to 60 Spoils per week.
3) Two secret chests in Salvation's Edge
For the first chest, get a post-Herald checkpoint and start making your way through the jumping puzzle until you get to an orange room for the first chest.
For the second chest, you can reload the Witness checkpoint and go back outside. Here is a detailed guide on the secret chest locations of Salvation's Edge Raid.
4) King's Fall wall jumping puzzle
Spawn on the King's Fall wall jumping puzzle before the boss room. Here, jump through the invisible platforms and make your way to the right wall of the arena.
There will be a small entrance at the very top of the wall, so take your time traversing and loot the chest inside.
