Diablo 4 Season 6 is here, and it’s time for us to go through the class list and see which option stands out the most for our tier list. This list is focused on a few factors, including how a class is to level and how it works for endgame/bossing content. Do note that this will be more of a general tier list and won't concern specific builds. That would be a completely different list, which we may make in the near future.

Season 6 has brought a great deal of interesting content and updates to the game, alongside Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred, so it’s the perfect time for a class tier list. However, I do want to stress that this doesn’t mean your build or class pick is bad. Ultimately, you should play whatever feels best for you.

Diablo 4 Season 6 class tier list

Below is our Diablo 4 class tier list for Season 6. This is my personal opinion, and your thoughts/feelings about these classes may vary. All classes are worth playing in D4 right now, but some have a greater variety of powerful options in the current season of content.

Tier LevelClass
SRogue, Spiritborn
ANecromancer, Sorcerer
BDruid, Necromancer

  • Rogue
  • Spiritborn

Topping the charts of the Diablo 4 class tier list, surprising no one, are Rogue and Spiritborn. Rogues are so strong for several reasons, but the big winner is the Victimize Key Passive since it brings so many builds online. They also have the remarkable Dance of Knives builds, which are great for leveling and endgame content.

Next in line is the mighty Spiritborn. Even outside of the Infinite Evade Eagle Build, which is getting hotfixed, there are so many amazing builds for this new Diablo 4 class to put it on top of the tier list. Poison Swarm Stinger, Thorns Gorilla, Poison Centipede, Jaguar, Razor Wings Eagle, you name it. This class is fast, powerful, and the new flavor of the month (October), and I think it’s gonna stay that way.

A-tier

The A-Tier entries are just shy of being the very best due to minor issues (Image via Blizzard Entertainment)

  • Necromancer
  • Sorcerer

While Necromancer is my favorite class in Diablo 4, it’s not in as fantastic a spot as other classes are on this tier list. However, it is still relevant because of basically one build, Bone Spirit Wave.

There are several builds at a similar level, Minion, Sever, Soulrift, and Blood Wave, but the top one has to be Bone Spirit Wave, which makes Necromancer deserving of being in this tier.

I think Sorcerers have more flexibility, though. They have quite a few strong Ice and Lightning builds, but just don’t feel quite as broken as Rogue/Spiritborn do. Their flexibility makes them an amazing pick, but they just don’t stand up to the classes above them in terms of raw output.

B-tier

  • Druid
  • Barbarian

I love both of the B-tier classes, Druid and Barbarian. The power of Landslide is still amazing, and One With Nature makes Companion builds feel more enjoyable. That said, the builds don’t feel as flexible or strong as the other entries into the Diablo 4 class tier list.

The same goes for Barbarian since it has the possibility of doing incredible damage but doesn’t feel as fun or interesting as it was in previous seasons. These things could change though, should a balance patch come out. Both of these classes are decent, especially if you know what you’re doing with them, but they just didn’t feel quite as enjoyable to me.
