Diablo 4 Season 5 kicks off with a new quest: Of Lambs and Wolves. It will introduce you to the NPCs that will lead you down the story quest for this season. It will also ultimately lead you to the various rewards you’ll unlock by improving your standing with this faction.

While Of Lambs and Wolves is a simple enough quest in Diablo 4, locating Locran’s House can be frustrating. It’s something players can easily overlook while exploring the map, as Season of the Infernal Hordes kicks off. If you cannot locate the house, here’s what you need to know.

How to complete Of Lambs and Wolves in Diablo 4

Of Lambs and Wolves is the very first quest in Diablo 4 Season 5. If you skip the campaign, you will immediately start in Zarbinzet, with this quest available. It’s technically a level 10 quest, but you can pick it up whenever you’re ready. If you have skill points from previously completed map coverage, it should be easy enough to take on the fights for this map. Head to the green leaf icon on the map to speak to an NPC, and then have a chat with Locran.

Once Locran has left the screen, ride southwest, to the spot shown on the map above. There isn’t much to fight on the way, but you can pick off a few enemy packs for extra exp if you’d like. Upon reaching the marked location, you need to interact with the Reinforced Door to trigger the next part of Of Lambs and Wolves in Diablo 4.

Interact with the door and select the only dialogue options you have. After selecting them both, the door will open and you can go inside Locran's house and meet his family. You’ll have a bit of dialogue inside - they do remember you as the person who slew Lilith, after all. Not everyone is thrilled to see the Wanderer.

When you speak to Locran, they reveal they’re with the Mother’s Triune, and despite the bad blood between the two, the player and the Mother’s Triune need to work together to stem the tides of Hell that are coming. This is where you learn about farming Mother’s Gifts to increase your reputation with the faction and unlock powerful rewards.

Go into the room, select the Liver crate, pick up the Fetid Khazra Liver, and put it in the Ritual Brazier to begin the next part of Diablo 4’s Of Lambs and Wolves seasonal quest. After defeating a pair of Elites, you’ll receive your first Mother’s Gift and reach Tier 1 with the Mother’s Triune faction. Thankfully, you don’t need the most overpowered build to fight them, as these two demons are relatively weak.

You will be rewarded with 5,000 XP and the Triune Parcel (containing a few crafting materials and items), which you can claim from the faction menu after speaking to Istel. Speaking to Locran again ends Of Lambs and Wolves, and sets up the next quest, The Rising Hells.
