Diablo 4 is known for offering fans some amazing paid cosmetics, and the Warcraft Legends II collection is the most recent addition. A sequel to the previous collection, this one added a new skin for each class, including the new Spiritborn. In addition to premium skins, a pair of mounts were added for players to pick up. Fans of both the MMO and the RTS games that inspired World of Warcraft are both going to love these.
The Warcraft Legends II cosmetics will likely be a permanent addition to the Diablo 4 shop, as the previous collection is still available. Whether you’re playing a Necromancer or the brand-new Spiritborn, here’s what is available to you.
Diablo 4’s Warcraft Legends II cosmetics feature some incredible, familiar faces
Diablo 4’s Warcraft Legends II collection is a gorgeous set of cosmetics for every class in the game. Each of these collections comes with a full set of cosmetic armor, as well as a weapon skin that the character in question is famous for. These also have special visual effects to go with them. Each one is available for 2,800 Platinum ($25).
The only exception is Bwonsamdi, Loa of Kings. As a character that has not seen combat, he doesn’t have a noteworthy weapon. However, he does come, instead with a special marking, The Bones of Bwonsamdi, and a special back trophy, Effigy of the Great Spirit. You can see the complete cast below.
- Barbarian: Garrosh Hellscream (with Gorehowl)
- Druid: Malfurion Stormrage (with Scythe of Elune)
- Necromancer: Arthas, The Lich King (with Frostmourne)
- Rogue: Illidan Stormrage (with Twin Blades of Azzinoth)
- Sorcerer: Jaina Proudmoore (with the Staff of Antonidas)
- Spiritborn: Bwonsamdi, Loa of Kings
Every one of these characters is familiar to fans of World of Warcraft and the Warcraft universe. New fans of Diablo 4 and WoW may not be familiar with Bwonsamdi though, as he first appeared briefly in Wrath of the Lich King, and played a much bigger role in Battle for Azeroth.
He’s a loa, a powerful spirit - specifically, the loa of the dead. The more souls he shepherds to the Other Side, the more powerful grows. He loves to bargain and is often clever and mischievous.
He’s easily one of the most popular NPCs from the Battle for Azeroth expansion. Speaking of memorable NPCs, Malfurion Stormrage of the Night Elves is available for Druids. Fitting, as one of the more powerful Druids to exist in Azeroth.
Jaina Proudmoore’s look is a bit of a throwback, though. Instead of her modern appearance, it’s her look from Warcraft 3, and the early days of World of Warcraft. Easily one of the most powerful spellcasters in the Human Alliance, she was once the leader of the Kirin Tor. She’s the Daughter of the Sea and is one of the most terrifying masters of the arcane.
There are also incredible boss encounters brought back to life, in Garrosh Hellscream, former Warchief of the Horde/the Iron Horde and Illidan Stormrage. Both were important bosses in their own right, with Illidan wielding the legendary Twin Blades of Azzinoth.
However, nobody in this collection is more popular than Arthas, the Lich King. The protagonist turned antagonist of Warcraft III, Arthas’ descent into madness as the Lich King is the stuff of legend.
Wearing his armor from his boss fight in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, he even comes with the legendary Frostmourne blade. Every one of these Diablo 4 skins is incredible and features gorgeous representations of some of Warcraft’s most famous characters. There are also two new mounts in Diablo 4 - one being Invincible, the Lich King’s steed, and a pair of elemental spirit cats - Ash’adar, Harbinger of the Dawn.
